BEST YET!
I own almost every Ridgid cordless power tool ever made including every light they've made. I finally bought the light cannon and boy I should've got it years ago. Well finally all other lights either got broke, lost or stolen. I could finally justify another hundred dollar spotlight. This thing is Crazy... I have the Tri-folding panel light and this thing is just as bright. I love that the head adjusts. I love the trigger is one click on/off. Its much lighter than anticipated. I might never use the included cord but its a great accessory. Oh did I mention the Lifetime service. Maybe the last one I buy unless I buy another one just because.

Fairly sure you could toast a bagel with this.
This thing is so bright I don't even know what the use is. if the headlights on your car fail you could use this to drive but I think people will flash you thinking you have your brights on! AMAZING. Only downside is the level control is a little finicky..

Great product for working around the house or anywhere you need the light.
I have owned a few different lights over the years and this one beats most of the ones I have owned. It is very bright, portable, stands on its own and even comes with an optional 12 volt connection in case you had to run your batteries down.

You know you've, "Got powerful", when LED's get hot.
I also own the single LED, RIDGID 18V SMD gooseneck, which is quite bright too. (SMD= Surface Mounted Device") But THIS 4 SMD handheld is INTENSE, for lack of a better word.
If there's a downside to it, it's that the intense brightness can rapidly deplete even a 4Ah battery, So I DO highly recommend the newer, 5Ah battery. Fortunately, there is a dimmer dial to cut back current draw/ brightness which is at full power each time you pull the trigger button.
That said, DO NOT POINT THIS IN THE EYES OF PEOPLE, PETS OR WILDLIFE.
It's an impressive light to say the least! Certainly is the most powerful handheld light I have ever owned or encountered.
PHOTOS: If you look at this first photo, you see the trees around 400 feet from where I took the photo illuminated like daytime. The "beam" can even be seen thru whatever the haze in the air is. I don't know the order these will appear in , but, It was taken just before dawn and the sky is just brightening. Sadly the flash went off. All 4 were taken on December 6th 2017.
... SO, 1st one was an iPhone. The last 3 were with a Canon in pitch black night of the same day. 1st of those was same as the morning shot. The 2nd was looking at a tree line that was closer Roughly 110' away.
BUT, the 3rd from the Canon Cam, (4th photo) is looking at the other end of the field I live in, and those trees are about 1000 feet away.
You want bright? Look no further!

sunlight with a handle
This thing is a beast. I just got it, and have only used it a frw times so far, but it is INSANELY powerful. You can save money on tanning beds and use this thing to add some extra UV's if the mood strikes you. I took it outside, lit it up to my palm trees 50' up and it wad literally daylight power ,or ghetto bird spotlight, depending upon what you are used to in your neighborhood.

To say that this light is simply bright would be a massive understatement. Take the best flashlight in your collection and I seriously doubt it will even get close to the performance of this one. I enjoy playing with this light as much as I enjoy using it while working. The power of the 2500 lumens is a sight to behold and with the dimming you have the ability to dial up the right level of light for your needs.
Ergonomically, the light is easy to hold and the grip is good. It's heavier and bigger than your average light, but once you see the power of the light you understand the size.
Battery usage is good. I've used mine for hours off/on and I'm still at 4 bars on my 4.0 Ah battery. In addition, this fits on the Ridgid tripod and the head swivels for aiming.
I aimed this light on my newer 'perfect' truck. Well, every blemish and scratch in the paint came out in the light and I realized that my perfect truck was not as perfect as I once thought. I can hardly imagine a better work light or around the home light to get jobs done and see the fine details you might be missing.
I fully recommend.

It's like having sunshine in your hand
I use my light cannon daily . When your under a car/truck It's like having sunshine in your hand and if you want to use it as a work lite just set it up as far away from your work and It will light up the whole wall+the rest of the room
