Was given this as a Christmas gift from my girlfriends father to replace my B&D Matrix setup. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.
The power and control of these phenomenal. The batteries also have a very strong life. These got their first real workout while putting up 300ft of wooden fence this month. They absolutely rocked it out. Battery lasted all day!! (on full charge). The driver had zero issues putting 3" screws into the posts. Over 10-12lbs of screws, Never struggled.
Overall this was a VERY good gift and I will continue to add Ridgid 18v products to my toolbelt, as the quality is extremely high.

Bought this on recommendation from the guy at Home Depot in the tool department because of the lifetime warranty on the batteries. This girl LOVES these drills. I'm a hobby builder. Shed in the backyard, garden boxes, island for my kitchen, new dining room table, etc. Everything I've built, I've done with this drill. The impact driver works well for me when I can't get those 3" screws to go all the way in (I don't have enough arm strength). This drill is a lot lighter than some of the others I've used. the feel in my hand is perfect, and I was able to use it for hours building the fence last year with no issues. Even after all these projects, I can go hours on the original batteries. They're amazing at their strength. I use a Kreg Jig for a ton of my projects, and this works effortlessly with the Jig and getting both the drill and the screws in perfectly. This and my chop saw are my two favorite toys....

They both work great. I’ve used Ryobi, DeWalt, Makita and Milwaukee brands through out the years. I have never owned a Ridgid, but I am very happy with these drills. The weight is nice in my hand and the life of the battery has not let me down as of now. Hope to get many years of use out of this drill set.

I got this as part of the holiday special with a free tool. I opted for the jigsaw. These tools are amazing, I have used it for a couple of big projects in my workshop already and I have not yet run out of battery on either tools. I even drilled over 180 holes with a fostner bit and only used 50% of one battery!
The impact driver is awesome, I don't know how I got along without it all this time. I no longer have to worry about over driving screws or snapping them. The speed and torque are incredible.
