What is the warranty on the lower box with wheels?

I've never seen any "Warranty" linked to these boxes- I've had my set of 3 for 4 years w/ no problems. They are better built than my other 2 roll around boxes (Soft, maybe Silicone, rubber gaskets in the lids, very secure locking ability)

Can you buy just a new handle?

The answer should be yes, contact Ridgid Tools customer service either by phone or website, they should assist you with a replacement handle.

Tool box has a limited lifetime warranty for defects in materials or poor workmanship only. Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear from use.

Does this pro gear cart tool box have LSA

I was unable to get anyone at Home Depot, the manufacturer or Ridgid, to register the box for an LSA (Lifetime Service Agreement). My answer would be no.

Do the dimensions include the wheels? Looking to buy a storage shed ~2ft deep to store this.

I believe the 22in is outside of wheel to opposite outer wheel. Dimensions are 22 wheel to wheel, 17 in front to back and 17 in high Or so, but the unit is very compact and can go as high as you like. They hold tight and no much movement like other brands. Also great for dark colors. Not a beacon in the dark to thieves! Just do not over weight them. You can damage the draw handle. I use a strap around the entire set and handle to supwr secure them.

I have the same problem with mine .I have had to replace the box 3 times. All under warrenty. Home Depot should exchange it for free

what size lock thickness can I use on the latches

Very small ones I had to return 2 sets of locks which appeared to fit but didn’t. I think the Highest Master Lock rating on Them was a 4 which is basically one step up from a zip tie. I would wait for the DeWalt 2.0 tough system to be restocked & not buy this Ridgid one.

Picked up 3 sets in all. 2 sets for tools, 1 set for packing clothing for my wife and I for going out of town. I use the organizer for a toiletry pack and clear organizer for change and stuff and even have a basket for dirty laundry. Works great. Got rid of 2 suitcases and other bags cause these work great.

Perfect sized pack out for my truck hauling all of my arborist climbing gear around town to different job sites and this piece of kit right here. My back is definitely thankful because now I can easily unload each individual bin and assemble on the ground and roll away like pushing a dolly. I highly recommend this product for the quality/cost ratio.

Handle needs a redesign
I work construction and had been looking for a good modular system. The Ridgid toolbox is mostly a good box. Plenty of room, over all a good design except for the handle. I've had mine for about 4 months now and the telescopic handle has stopped working right. This is a major design flaw as the handle always felt like the weakest part of the box. Which is a huge disappointment in a rolling tool box. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone until they redesign the handle or offer replacements for ones that have malfunctioned. Ridgid does have a warranty, but they want you to mail it to them in Ohio (a 22inch toolbox?!) To be repaired or replaced. Shipping would be on par with buying another box. Here's to hoping they fix the one major flaw of an otherwise great toolbox.

Works great, is tough, durable, and easy to use. Locking system works well, smooth roll. Handle could be a little longer/taller, but other than that, excellent purchase for organization of tools in my work van and on job sites.

Have D-GID, will travel
This puppy gets everywhere. Tyler said it was only good on gravel and sand, but I can easily use this on sideways and poured concrete slabs. Bet he doesn't know it can also work on wood planking. I use this bad boy when I'm in the field. Carries most of the various tools I need and rolls smoothly. It is big enough for lots of tools, but small enough to be carried up steps or over obstacles.

Broke on first use.
I was excited to purchase the Ridgid toolbox after having the Husky brand crack before I even got to use it. Well, sure enough, the Ridgid also broke on the first use. The handle completely disconnected while rolling on a flat driveway. The handle shouldn’t just pull completely off. Next, I noticed one of the slots that connects the boxes together broke. I’m not sure how or when that happened but now one of the boxes is loose. Overall, I like the design of this toolbox. It’s just unfortunate that I had 2 different pieces break on the first use.
