Any brand of hook and loop sandpaper will work. Some you may have to cut down to fit the sandpaper mount.
HOME DEPOT OF COURSE !
With the OMT head using balanced cutting blades I don't find the level of vibration objectionable, even when using for several minutes of continuous cutting (my longest single cutting use so far was 8 lineal feet trimming hardwood). I find the weight balance a bit awkward for sanding large areas or long duration (greater than 10 minutes), which usually makes be stop before the vibration does. I use the sander for odds and ends, or if I have nothing else with me, but if I know I will do a lot of sanding, I bring a dedicated tool.
Very easy on the head of the tool slide the release up and bend it back. Remove blade and put on new one. Make sure you hold the release lever it will spring back and get you.
Hello Jjn, We appreciate your interest in the RIDGID 4 Amp Corded JobMax Multi-Tool with Tool-Free Head R28602. This would depend on what the fascia is made out of. If it is wood, then yes. Some fascia is made out of Hardie board and this multi tool will not work for that. If you would like to discuss this question further, please reach out to RIDGID Customer Support directly at 1-866-539-1710, and follow the prompts for Technical Support. Thanks for asking! - Eve
Yes, the plunge cut with the included wood blade is quite effective, so getting through the 1" depth of cut is not a big deal. that said, if you are trimming the whole width (30-36") of the door, I would suggest a saw.
The jobmax tool body has a jigsaw head available.. It's a seperate purchase that still requires the power head part either corded or battery powered.. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-JobMax-Jig-Saw-Head-Tool-Only-R82234071B/202672271
Yes, I ordered a couple Dewalt brand. Worked very well
