Works great once you get the hang of it. A little hard to get it perfectly centered because it’s a holes with no center bit.
Follow the instructions - start at an angle using a light touch, stop very often for water lubrication. I pressed too hard on my second attempt and it skipped across the tile causing a little damage. Totally my fault. If you see dust coming out instead of goo, rewater tip - it gets hot quick.
I was easily able to get 8 holes in porcelain bath tile for mounting shower doors. Could probably do 8 more, but I can’t imagine too many more after that.

Worked great on bathroom project
Regular bits are not going to go through tile, especially porcelain. In fact it will dull most regular bits. This is design-engineered especially for hard tile like porcelain. Follow the instructions for great performance, dipping in water often and rocking when drilling.
The hardest part is getting started. While not in the instructions, I used a small traditional bit to just get through the glaze, the a 5/16 traditional bit to cut through the glazed surface. Then when I used this special diamond coated bit, it stayed in place and cut the hole exactly where I wanted it.
If you work with tile, this is a must have drill bit.
I only needed to drill 4 holes, so I do not know how many holes it will drill before being worn out.

The drillbit I’m sure was good but it had no center bit to hold it in place so It is hard to drill into tile with nothing to hold it in place

Following the directions, this bit easily made a couple nice holes. Pretty fast and very little mess. Needed holes for oven anti tip plate. Popular 6x24 plank tile.

Works perfect. I used plenty of water with it while drilling porcelain tile and it cut like a dream.
