Poor Workmanship & Warranty

I bought 16GA straight finish Nailer as a package with compressor, 14GA, and Stapler. I didn't get to opening the box of 16GA until 3 months after when I need to use it. The rear loading latch will not lock to keep it open while you reloading the nails. I have to hold it while reloading it. It looks like this was sold to me as defective one or has previously been returned as it's missing some plastic anti-marring cover. Called company but given a service center that is 1 1/2 hour drive.

great value

I picked this up during the Black Friday sale. Great value at its normal price. a steal at its discount price. it's only slightly more expensive than the 16 gauge nailer by itself. The 16 gauge nailer is super big. all three tools feel super good quality. The compressor is loud but all compressors are loud for the most part. it's not heavy so it can be carried around really easy. this set also came with the hose. plus quick connects already installed. so like I said it is a steal.

I need this for multiple projects. I have never used this type nailers before. About 20 years ago i did all the wood flooring with a nail gun and large, heavy dewalt compressor. Hecter at HD was a great help guiding me on my purchase.The Ridgid pancake compressor is definitely lighter and easier to carry around. I read the directions while running the compressor for 30 minutes as instructed. Then watched a Youtube video. Last, hooked everything up, added some 2-1/2” dewalt nails to the 16 gauge nail gun and tested it. Then shut everything down and drained the compressor. So for my initial testing the Ridgid compressor and Ridgid nail gun are easy to use. Reading the manual and watching a Ridgid compressor how to youtube video really helped me get up to speed fast.
