Hello Ian, Thanks for your question! The RIDGID 6 Gal. Portable Electric Pancake Air Compressor OF60150HB can be used for operating some air-powered power tools and for operating air accessories such as air nozzles and tire inflators. While you can use a 6 gallon air compressor to power a nailer, you cannot use it for paint sprayer. Paint sprayers require a compressor with a large tank, preferably from 50 gallons and above, in order to be able to keep up with the spray gun. I hope this helps! - Eve

Why yes it is
It runs my framing nailer fine. I highly recommend this unit over some that are much more expensive because of it's portability and price.
That depends upon where in the hose it needs repair. If in the middle you will need a 1/4" I.D. double ended barb repair coupler and two clamps (or proper sized hose ferrules and a crimper). These are usually sold as a set in most places. But if the end (by the hose end coupler) has gotten damaged then you may only need a 1/4" I.D. clamp (or ferrule) because it's fairly easy to remove the old 1/4" NPT hose end by splitting the clamping ferrule. I use a small cut-off wheel in my Dremel tool to split the ferrule and then pry it open with a slotted screwdriver. Takes about five minutes. Keep in mind you won't have those pretty rubber stress reliefs when you do the repair unless you use a brass hose ferrule for your repair. Tools to do that will cost $100+ but will look just like new!
You might have a leak somewhere. Usually compressors do leak out air as a safety precaution so that they don't blow up one day while in storage for a long time.
Hello Nabber, Yes, the RIDGID 6 Gal. Portable Electric Pancake Air Compressor OF60150HB can be used to inflate tires to 80 PSI. Thanks for asking! - Eve
If the tire is flat, it takes about 5-7 minutes. The compressor will have to cycle on a few times as well. This is a lightweight compressor, so yes you can take it with you. You will need power however. There isn’t sufficient tank capacity to fill a flat tire.
