After receiving a labor quote of $1100 to do our 32 square feet of tile backsplash, I decided to do it myself. Used this saw and a small grinder with 3 & 3/8 diamond blade to cut out for outlets. The stand was helpful as I did not have any free bench space in the garage. You can adjust the laser to point next to cut line or on cut line. It made square cuts right out of the box. I didn't have to do any 45 degree cuts, but did lock the guide in place to do repeat width cuts.

Can't be beat for the money.

Where to start. Ok never layed a tile in my life but watching on tv looks fairly easy. Huh My wife and I (now retired) decided to tile our new shower. She was a little afraid of what she might have to look at for a few years. Anyway we found a woman employee at Home Depot who was a lot of help. Made our choices and come out with our shower in a shopping cart. Priced renting a tile saw. Hmmm. Home Depot is an hour away. Wow this could be expensive. Got home and looked on line. YouTube for guidance and how to lay tile. Well we have 2 neches going in and I want perfect mitered corners. Talked to a friend who does it for a living and he tried to steer me away from miters. This saw did an awesome job on the long mitered cuts. I know it's not a professional saw but the results are. I saved money buying this saw and got to do it when I was in the mood. This saw made me look good. It's a little messy and do recommend doing it outside even though it's small enough and light enough to carry upstairs. Would buy again and highly recommend this saw.

I'm a novice at tile work, but had a few small projects that I needed to do around the house. After doing research and reviews, this saw seemed to be the best for the price. It worked perfectly to cut everything I needed. Even the laser is pretty accurate. Very happy with the saw. The only negatives I have, were that the drain cap was broken when I opened it, and the angle gauge is not very accurate. I ended up using a square to get perfect 45° cuts. Overall, very happy with the saw and would recommend it.

This is an extremely well designed tool for the price. It was cheaper for me to buy this versus renting. True the rental was a higher end tile saw, but this surved it's purpose and them some. Easy assembly. Sturdy design. Easy take apart for easy clean up. Very sturdy legs and slide table. I used this tool to cut Jerusalem stone. I had to get a little creative for some of the pieces since this is meant for tile no greater than 12" square I believe and no thicker than about 2". My stones were as much as 17 lbs. and 16" x 8". Because of the sturdy design, I was able to hang the stone off the right edge and make my cuts. The guide is a little flimsy, but usable. The laser guide is awesome! I just kept forgetting to turn it off, so I went through one set of batteries. I also bought my own heavy duty diamond blade, but it does come with a Ridgid diamond blade that I'm sure is fine for tile. With this tool, maybe I'll take up a new career! Ah, no... Retirement is too much fun.

Beware blade diameter
Bought this about a year ago, and got some nice, clean, straight cuts. When that blade began chipping tiles I went out to get a replacement blade. First a DeWalt, then a Norton. Both blades were giving me chipped cuts worse than the original! But, what I noticed with the second replacement blade was that it ground out when the aluminum tray initially passed under it. I grabbed the original blade, and, sure enough, its about 1/8" diameter smaller than the new blade. Well, I used my metal grinder to deepen the lip before the trough (why is that there again?). Anyway, I read a lot of reviews of blades chipping tiles. Thought there may be something to this. Wanted to add more photos, but only allowed 1
