I recently purchased a Ridgid 9 gallon shop vacuum from Home Depot. Why doesn’t the vacuum include hardware to attach the feet to the bottom of the vac? The snap in feet don’t stay in place and fall out. I had to drill holes and put in screws. Nuisance!

While most customers are satisfied with the suction power of this vac, you may return the vac to Home Depot store within 90 days of purchase. This vacuum is rated at 76 CFM suction power. Additionally, there are several factors that can affect actual airflow, including turbulence in the hose and wands, restrictions on airflow where the cleaning tool meets the floor or other surface, as well as filter loading. If you need a vac with higher CFM, you may contact us directly so we can help you find one suitable for your needs. Alternative, we suggest to check the power head if its properly seated to its drum. To check if properly seated, make sure that the blowing port near the cord is not on the same side where the suction port is. The suction port is the hole on the bucket.
