Dust bags prevent dust and debris from entering the drum, so that the inside of your vacuum remains spotless.
Contains a large portion of the material that might otherwise clog the cartridge filter.
Disposal is contained, reducing the risk of creating a further mess.
Remove the powerhead from the drum. Align the cardboard collar with the vacuum's inlet.
With both thumbs push the back of the collar until the cardboard is pressed all the way against the vac.
Slowly remove the cardboard collar from the inlet. Lift the bag out of the drum.
Emptying your wet/dry vacuum is as simple as throwing a bag away. No mess, no spill.
Captures everyday dirt, debris, and fine particles such as drywall dust and fine powders.
Includes 2 Dust Bags.
Use with RIDGID cartridge filters for optimal filtration.
The dust bags fit 3 - 4.5 gallon RIDGID vacuums as well as the 6 gallon NXT vac.
Use only with non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-flammable materials.
Extend the life of your filter by preventing dirt and debris from entering it.
Nothing has to be cut away. Installing the bag properly over the hose outlet pushes that circle in. If you cut anything you'll likely destroy the ability to seal. Make sure that the cardboard itself and the rubber seal are seated properly - it sets in between the two flanges that wrap around the house outlet, and sometimes you need to wiggle to get a full 360 seating. I've used these bags regularly, no cutting needed.
I have never used it for that, but I imagine so, since it allows the dust not to come out.
Guess I'm being lazy today because I don't want to research type C, B, XYZ. What I will say is I'm using this dust collection bag for the Rigid 6 Gal. 3.5-Peak HP NXT Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum. Hope this helps.
Don’t know. Check the Ridgid site to determine correct bag for your system.
Hello RayleneCreates, Thank you for your inquiry. This VF3501 RIDGID High-Efficiency Size C Dust Collection Bags for 3 to 4.5 Gallon is only recommended for dry pick-ups. Hence, it's not recommended to put some water in the vacuum with the filter bag installed. Likewise, for picking up fine dust, we suggest you get a Fine Dust filter (VF3500) that you can use together with the filter bag to help prevent dust from blowing out of the exhaust. These bags fill the empty space in the machines that they are made for, so instead of having to emptying the machine, you remove and dispose of the bag.
