This is good drill boot.
The RIDGID Protective Boot for 1/2 in. High Torque Impact Wrench is a tool protector that I would not normally used. But after using it with my impact driver I have a different opinion.
It actually does protect the drill from the results of hard use and falling or dropping. It is big enough so there is air flow and the drill does not over heat. I like this boot and would recommend it.

great damage prevention
this protective boot is a great way to keep the original tool body safe from damage including cleanliness and also small dings. it is just flexible enough to pull it over the body of the tool but tight enough to squeeze back down once it’s pulled back over. i started on the drive end first and stretched it back and it slipped over. it’s not the most difficult thing to do but it does take some strength.

Great protector
I received the Ridgid high torque impact wrench boot in good condition. There were no instructions included. This boot fits the new Ridgid high torque impact wrench tightly. I found the best way to install it was to insert the tool into the front of the boot, invert the rear portion and then unfolded as I pulled it back.
The boot fits snugly with no looseness. I expected it to provide years of good service to protect my Ridgid High Torque impact wrench. It is made in China. It is a wear item so no warranty is included.

Such a cool boot!
It fit really snug and well. I wasn't sure if I would even need something like this at first but after being at a few different job sites and getting pretty dirty, this has helped me to push the drill and not worry about damaging it as much. I've had it for a few weeks now and I recommend it if you want to have another layer of protection. I mean its a silicone type of material so it's only going to protect so much.

works on other brands
I got this about a month ago for my husband, and thought it included the impact gun, dumb mistake on my part. However, it did fit the impact wrench my husband currently owns and will protect it from drops, bumps and everything else. for a mistake by me it really came in handy! I would recomend this to any one who uses their impact guns in areas where they may fall, get bumbed etc. also is light weight but sturdy

Tool Saving Upgrade
This is a simple little protective case that adds lots of protection to your tool.
This silicone case is very easy to install and it improves not only the tools protection but also its much easier to hold get a very good solid grip on the tool. This in itself helps to add to the usefulness of the tool in tight spaces with limited hand space.
Before you install the new cover its a good idea to warm the cover up. This makes installation much easier and much quicker. This cover fits like a glove and looks like it was installed at the factory.

A must have boot
I got the RIDGID 18V Brushless High Torque 1/2 in. Impact Wrench Protective Boot and fitting to my impact wrench was tight. The model number is 1006-713-075 // AC13B02N fits the biggest impact wrench size, which is the most prone to being thrown around and with the weight of the impact wrench makes it more likely to hit an object and crack. The case of the impact wrench itself is very hard and fiber reinforced, but being dropped constantly from the usual height of a vehicle on post lift jack can damage it.
Fitting it on the impact wrench was hard. The size is measured perfectly and fits snug on the body without loose areas and gaps where oil and gunk can creep in.
The rubber compound is closer to a neoprene composition without the drawbacks. The thickness is 1/8" at the thinnest spots and thicker on protruding edges where larger cushion area is needed to protect corners and edges.
Flexibility changes only minimally with exposure to cold and heat cycles and is UV, oil, solvents and brake fluid resistant. It can be cleaned safely with acetone and gasoline.
The designers made enough vent windows so that the boot doesn't impair the cooling air flow and the slot for switch on top is also wide enough to allow comfortable operation without being loose and allowing for collection of grime and dust.
This boot is a must have for any auto repair shop, or for people like who can be careless enough to leave the tool precariously balancing on an edge. It is a very modestly priced and offers great protection of an expensive work horse of a tool that normally takes a beating. It is literally a small investment that pays for itself adding longevity to a already great tool.

Great protection
Definitely a must have for my impact. The new RIDGID impact is really nice and I definitely want to protect it. This rubber over mold fits to perfect. At first I did struggle a little bit putting it on the impact but I did get it on without hurting anything or tearing. It is made of really good material and the rubber has Good grip to either hold or so it won’t slide off. I really like that it’s made just like the impact and has the holes to prevent overheating. Helps keep my tool clean when working on my truck can be real dirty. Made of heavy duty rubber. And I like the thought put into the design.

Good protection
This rigid boot ads extra protection and keeps your tools clean decent color gray blends and well easy to clean remove it throw it in the washing machine or dishwasher or hand wash very durable decent stretch holds very well will probably use for the life of the tool good addition for added safety and control of your tools overall this is a decent product but not necessarily needed

Handy protective skin for your impact wrench
This protective cover has a large opening in the base which allows you to insert the impact wrench nose first into the bottom, then with a good bit of stretching and positioning, finish up the insertion of the tool. It will protect your impact wrench from scratches and some dirt, but generally its made only for some protection from scratching. It will also give you some minor softness on your hands in long use situations perhaps giving you less wear on you hands too. If you want to help keep your impact wrench in better condition for a longer time, this will be a good start to preserving the looks and general condition of the actual tool. I do recommend this and will use it on my impact wrench.
