I don’t like to use my RIDGID wet-dry vacuum without a dust bag installed. When I vacuum up dirt, drywall dust, sawdust, pet hair and so on, I want all of it to stay sealed up in a bag. Bagging the dirt eliminates the need to shake a large amount of dust and other trash out of the pleated paper filter on the intake. My motto for dust bags is Use, Remove and Throw Away.
These premium cyclonic dry pick-up bags work with my RIDGID model HD14000/WD1401 14-gal vac even though the model number is not among those listed as being compatible. My guess is that the bags will work will all RIDGID 12-16 gallon wet/dry vacs that have the suction/inlet port on the drum.
I’ve found the bags to be as efficient as advertised. They capture all but the tiniest particles. They are also easy to install and remove, and I especially like that there’s a sealing collar that keeps everything inside the bag after removal and during disposal.
My only gripe is that these cyclonic bag are a one-size-fits-all for drum sizes in the range 12 to 16 gallons. The height of the bag is just about an inch too tall for my 14-gal drum. I have to expand the bag by pulling on its sides to shorten it a bit.
Unfortunately, these cyclonic bags are not in stock at my Home Depot for just-in-time purchase. Fortunately, I can order them online and pick them up at the store just a few days later.

Ridgid provides multiple bag models for their wet/dry vacs. I like the premium bags for their price and performance. My vac is used for dust collection on various wood working equipment as well as cleaning my garage and car interiors. The suction is plenty strong and the well thought accessories are perfect. Because I really hate airborne dust, I've configured my Ridgid 14 Gal vac into a 3 stage machine. The first stage is a cyclone, 2nd stage is this premium dust bag, and my final stage is a HEPA filter. It must be effective because when picking up smelly messes, it's amazing how the odors disappear quick. My friends and I've done some research and the Ridgid system is closest performing system costs more than $600. The Ridgid wet/dry vacuuming system is king.

This premium Ridgid bag is a good fit for our Shop-Vac 12 Gallon Heavy Duty Wet/Dry Utility Vac, and is preferable for indoor jobs where we want to keep dust to an absolute minimum. One of the primary objectives in our projects is to avoid having one project accidentally create another project. Whether we are working in the house or in the garage, we want to avoid creating a dust clean-up project when we are vacuuming. Cheaper bags are fine for vacuuming up something like dirt spilled in river rocks outdoors. But when the mess is indoors, such as during a construction project, premium bags are best. All of the accessories for our shop vac are from Ridgid, which we regard as a trusted brand. The bag installed easily, and snugly. The paper is thicker than what is found on cheaper bags. This is the highest quality bag that we have seen.

I've been using the standard dust bags for my Rigid shop vac for years. I work in woodworking and am always running the vac on my tools or cleaning up afterwards. One of every woodworkers fears is the micro dust we are around all the time, getting into our lungs. These bags are made to pick up finer dust particles, so even though I can not see the difference in the standard bags, I know I am getting more into the filter than in my lungs. Has to be good.

These bags are great! They are a huge time saver when emptying the shop vac and create far less mess. Additionally, they keep the inside of the shop vac from caking up with dirt. The bags can be used with the vf-6000 filter to achieve HEPA filtration to keep fine dust and particulate out of the air which is very helpful especially when vacuuming up drywall dust. However, I have used them without a canister type filter and they still work very well.
They are very easy to install / replace, similar to replacing a bag on a standard vacuum and come 2 per pack. Overall these bags have been fantastic and I would highly recommend them.

RIDGID PREMIUM CYCLONIC DRY PICK-UP DUST BAGS FOR SELECT 12 GAL. TO 16 GAL. WET/DRY VACS (2-PACK), GREEN. These are the best for wet / dry vacuum cleaners. These will perform several things, which #1 keeps the exhaust air clean, #2. Your main filter won't build-up dirt which lowers the performance and #3 makes emptying the vac a snap. I always use these for drywall sanding.

Perfect fit and no leaking. I wanted to take a moment to share a story with anyone that might be considering using an "off-brand" dust bag. A few years ago, on my way out of town for a business trip, I asked a co-worker to order some dust bags for our Ridgid brand Wet/Dry vac. I new that we were on our last one and we had an important project coming up soon. When I got back, she said that the bags came in while I was gone and that she had gone ahead and installed a new one. That afternoon, we painted a large room and when we were finished, we swept the area using the wet/dry vac.About half way into the process, we noticed that the vac was emitting dust and the dust was sticking to our freshly painted walls. It turned out that my co-worker had (in an attempt to save a few bucks), ordered a bunch of off-brand bags which fit poorly and leak like crazy. I realize that she was only trying to help but it turned out to be a costly mistake. From now on, we all know to use ONLY genuine Ridgid brand bags on our Ridgid wet/dry vac. They fit perfectly and they don't leak.

High filtration rate for my larger shop vac. I have a 14 gallon Ridged 6 hoarse power vac that has stood up to a lot of punishment over the years. Everyday wood chips and saw dust is ok with standard filterbags but I find these to be better with smaller matter like waste from sanding down cabinets for refinish. Good catch of material without diminishing vacuum power. Easy fit to vac and when full just so easy to toss bag and not have to worry about cleaning drum and machine filter. Worthwhile time saver from Ridgid.

This bag works well in my Ridgid HD1400 vacuum. I wanted the bag so I could use the vacuum in the house without having the really fine particles of dust that normally get through a regular filter being spread all over the house. As this filter removes HEPA level dust particles it is just what I needed. I intend to use it when I am refinishing my hardwood floors and that dust will be very fine.
The bag installation was easy but as with most vacuum bags they never seem to fit as neatly as one would like, but it still worked great.
I did have some concerns that with that level of filtration it might reduce the vacuuming capabilities, but I didn't see any reduction in the vacuum to pick up dust and dirt. I tried it out on an area rug to see how well it worked and it did an excellent job of picking up dirt and lint.

RIDGID Premium Cyclonic Dry Pick-up Dust Bags. Works great and prevents fine dust from clogging up the primary filter and reducing vacuum strength. In my workshop I don't have a RIDGID vacuum I have a Shop Vac which the dust bags fits perfectly. As you can see in the picture I have no issue and with all the dust I create in my shop the is perfect for me. I would recommend this product if you’re looking for a substitute for a HEPA vacuum bag. I would really suggest this if you want to reduce alleges as well.
