Works Great - minimal mess
This is the second adhesive I tried. The first was runny and messy - it worked but it glued down everything - my skin, my clothes!
This one is much better - more of a paste -like texture. I was using peel and stick vinyl tiles on cement (basement) and wanted more "stick-um" than just the peel and stick!
Re-habbiing my craft/laundry room-
Also used this with the stair carpet treds - even though they were also peel and stick!

Good thick paste
I used this paste to install my vinyl floors. It is very sticky and thick, it can be hard to maneuver it you don’t get enough paste at a time or until you get the hang of it. My floors are still strong, it’s going on 2 years.

I don't like the stickiness of it.... it was supposed...
I don't like the stickiness of it.... it was supposed to be a clear dry adhesive for the tiles. Instead it by the Yello ruins the white marble tile that I bought can you replace this?

Horrible product
I have laid my share of VCT tile over the years and have always used a 3/16 x 5/32 trowel to lay out my adhesive.
I don't know if I simply got a bad batch but this product TOOK FOREVER to set up to a point where I could work with it.
After waiting over 100 mins (YES 100 MINUTES) after laying it out I was still unable to lay my product without the tiles sliding around.
I even had direct air current flowing over the work area and it was the middle of the summer so it wasn't cold outside.
Very frustrating to be forced to wait 3-4 hours before you can begin to lay out your product.
While my trowel is slightly larger then what is recommended I laid out the adhesive very thin and to no avail.
Adhesive like this typical develops a skin after setting for a hour and at that point you can start laying your material.
Make sure and plan a entire day for your job when using this adhesive since you'll be waiting half the day for this stuff to cure up to become workable.

Roberts understands installing a new VCT floor can be challenging. Here are some key product usage points regarding the 2057 this thin spread VCT adhesive product that may improve performance and satisfaction. The largest trowel size recommended for use during installation is a 1/16" square notch (over porous substrate). A smaller notched trowel is recommended over non porous substrates. Ensure adhesive trowel ridges are well defined. When excessive adhesive is used, longer than usual open time should be expected. Always allow the adhesive to dry to a full tack (no transfer to fingertip) and a transparent color prior to installing the tiles. Once flooring is installed, roll the flooring with a weighted roller in both directions to secure the tiles into the adhesive field. - Customer Care

I simply loved using this pre mixed grout. It was so easy to apply and made my work as a first time DIY tile installer, look very professional. It closed in the gaps that I thought I would have to move toilets or cabinets to achieved. Very pleased with it.

Sticks well! Both the tile and my fingers stuck well together. Less is more on this product so ...
Sticks well! Both the tile and my fingers stuck well together. Less is more on this product so as you push down you wont have to clean excess from the seam lines which will get sticky fingers. Tile is holding well as it should.
