ROBERTS 8015 UNIVERSAL Carpet Seam Sealer is a solvent-free formula, developed for seaming most types of carpet to prevent unraveling and delaminating. This sealer can also be used to repair bubbling in existing carpet. Powered by Microban, this antimicrobial product protection helps fight the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria that can cause product degradation. This formula dries in as little as 24 hours and is easy to clean when wet. The refillable applicator bottle holds up to 8 oz. It is compatible with most carpet and carpet backings, including polypropylene, jute, urethane latex, unitary, woven-backed and vinyl-backed carpet. Can be used in direct and double bond installations. For use on glue down, direct stick and conventional stretch-in installations. VOC: less than 1 g/L

I just soaked my indoor-outdoor (old) carpet in the basement. Some seams are coming loose. Can I use this product while the carpet is still wet to seal the seams? I'm concerned the edges will peel up once they dry and won't lie flat again.

My cat clawed up the carpet at the doorway where it meets vinyl. Can I use this to reattach the carpet to the floor? There is tack strip but I can't get carpet to reattach securely.
It sounds like you would need to have it stretched properly. We do not believe that glue is the answer. We would recommend to use a knee kicker to stretch the carpet back over the tack strip, or get a professional to do the repair.
