A:  Yes, just keep a good blade or you'll start to tear the wet carpet instead.

A:  Yup. It should be dry by now.

A:  Dont cut the carpet on the edges use pliers and pull it up remove the pad and place a blower fan under the carpet spraying the carpet first with odoban to kill mold spores once dry it can be reinstalled with new pad

A:  Don't cut it if u plan to put it back down. Just pull it up starting at a corner.

A:  this tool is designed to cut carpet. If you have hardwood floors or special subfloor underneath your carpet and you do not want to ruin it, be careful not to set the blade too low. This tool has two sharp cutting blades that can be raised and lowered by the thumb screw on the side.

A:  you should be concerned, those blades will slice through fingers like butter.. But, this is your safest option (vs. a knife w/ blade) . Just be careful and mindful of the blades at all times and use common sense.

A:  As with anything with sharp blades, care has to be taken. With precautions, had no problems with this tool.

A:  Blades are razor sharp. Handle blades by the 4 dull sides, not the two sharp ones.
