Vinyl plank installation kit
The rectangular block is valuable for hammering on the edge of the planks, however the metal Z shaped thing bent after being hit a few times. After it was bent, it would leave marks on the planks whenever it was used. The spacers were not helpful as my baseboard was raised and they kept falling over. Overall I would not buy the kit, but would just buy the rectangular block if it's available separately.

Delaminated tapping block
Most of this product has been great for the project I was doing, ie LV Flooring. The tapping block was terrible as it started to delaminate as I was working on a small 10 x 10 room thus damaging the flooring edge and required more product to get the job done

Floor looks pretty good in our spare bedroom: some of the planks were cupped (warped?). As a result some of the joints were not as tight as they could be- however purchasing more than we needed was a benefit and remedied the problem. May require some fill in cracks depending on application.

Gives cheap tools a bad name
Both pull bar and tapping block failed after installing less than 100 sq ft of laminate. Pull bar bent badly, so I welded a bigger/sturdier piece of steel to it. It continues to bend, and I have to straighten in a vise every 2 or 3 uses.
Tapping block cracked in multiple places.
The hammer is decent.
I very rarely leave bad reviews, but this set is truly awful quality.

Roberts understands installing a new floor can be challenging. Here are some key product usage points regarding the adhesive product that may improve performance and satisfaction. Always confirm how to engage the flooring's locking mechanism prior to install. Gently tap the block with a rubber mallet to assist with engaging a seam (depending on locking mechanism and flooring manufacturer's install instructions) and use the pry bar to gently engage/pull short seams together from the perimeter and other tight spots. - Bailey Customer Care

Must Have
This installation kit is a must have for installing laminate flooring. The all in one kit with the bar, block, and spacer is more cost effective them buying each individual item. To prevent scratching the floor finish with the metal bar, I put an extra felt pad on it and use a rag under it just in case it slips while striking it with a hammer. I highly recommend this installation kit.

Essential tools for installing Lifeproof
My new floor is better than I expected thanks to the helpful tools in this kit. Planks were protected and correctly aligned using the spacers and tapping block. The metal pry bar was used on every tile we installed, could not have done this job without it!
