Black oxide bits DO NOT provide a longer life and faster drilling, as Ryobi states in the product description. Just check out this shattered PH2 I used for a 1" screw WITH PILOT HOLES DRILLED. Garbage and not worth $100 let alone $1. Will be returning and am disappointed with the lack of quality from Ryobi.

NOT impact rated
I purchased the new impact and drill driver one HP kit and bought this bit set along with it. Upon my second use of the PH2 impact bit for driving some 2” wood decking screws, the tip completely shattered. Wasnt any kind of torture test or anything, completly normal use. I have had great experiences with a lot of ryobi products. But i will never make the mistake of purchasing any of their bit sets again. I returned this set with no issue and purchased the makita XPS set instead.

Pliers needed to pull them out
Decent set if needing some drill bit set; nice that it comes in plastic containers with latch.
While decent quality bits, it may not be the most functional set that i have owned. You will tear your fingers apart trying to rotate the holder and pull the bit out. There are some bits that i cannot even pull out with my fingers at all (lodged in the slot). Will need pliers to pull them out which takes an extra tool and effort which takes away from efficiency. While neat organization idea - i prefer my black and decker one where the bits are easy to pull out as it is all vertical slots without overly tight slots. Honestly may not be worth 20$ in my eyes due to functionality/ease of use - but more 10-15$ In its current state.
