A:  It was just scratching the surface and shooting the soil backwards.

A:  That only thing that'll break up caliche is a heavy digging bar. You're basically working with dirt cement.

A:  hold the button than depress the handle. its almost a 2 hand job. I flip the upper handle and made it easier to start and to hold the tiller.

Failure to use cord retainer may result in damage to the unit and/or extension cord. Place your thumb on the lock-out button. Pull the switch trigger toward the handle. Release the lock-out button. A:  Well that all depends if you have a 110 outlet pre-installed or if you have a converter box to make it work from your cigarette lighter. It's been my experience that as long as you have an extension cord for the tiller and if your are only expecting to use it for a short period then it works as long as your battery will hold a charge.i do think that it's speed seems to be a bit slower and it will definitely drain the battery, but it does work in a pinch. If no other sorse like a generator is available.
