Yes it has a light that comes on with the trigger. The light stays on for about five seconds after you release.
Hello Ievren81, thank you for your question, the RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless 3-Speed 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver can be used to remove nuts and bolts but we do not recommend it to be used for the removal of lug nuts.
Get the drill, then purchase a attachment.
Hello ddp11, thank you for your question. RYOBI does not sale directly. For all sale, pricing, and availability information please contact The Home Depot at 1-800-466-3337. - Justin
Hi Speedy, The Ryobi 18v Battery charger is available at your Home Depot store or Home Depot online. Thanks for asking. Greg
The P-238 is brushless nd the P-237 uses brushes. Tools using brushless technology have higher torque and use less power, therefore run longer.
A big difference is how they work. The impact driver is a mechanical unit while the pulse driver is hydraulic. Copied from owners manual and pasted here: HYDRAULIC IMPACT TOOL This impact driver uses oil to transfer the impacting motion, resulting in quieter operation. Prolonged periods of heavy use can cause the oil in the tool to overheat, resulting in slower driving. If you experience decreased performance, allow the tool to cool before resuming operation. NOTE: When operating the tool in extreme cold temperatures, it may be necessary to warm the oil before use. To do this, pull and hold the trigger with no load for several seconds before beginning operation. FYI (again from OM) APPLICATIONS You may use this product for the purposes listed below: Driving long deck screws, driving carriage bolts into deck posts; driving Tapcon® screws into block walls and con- crete; driving screws into metal studs. And NOTICE: The impact driver is not designed to be used as a drill.
Hello, thanks for your question. Home Depot warranties up to 90 days, then after that you'd need to call Ryobi customer service.
It has a light on it. Three of them on the front. It will hang curtain brackets. Word of caution... Select a lower speed/torque setting to do this. The high speed/high torque will over tighten any screws you use for that purpose if you are not completely sure of the strength of this tool.
The Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless Impact Drivers [either 'brushed' or 'brushless' versions] have a Quarter Hex Chuck. They both can be used for 'driving bolts' with the properly sized socket and the quarter inch hex drive adapter. This Impact Driver will/can do a very good job driving fasteners to quick assembly of 'items' requiring use of bolts, screws and nuts. The use of 'IMPACT CAPABLE' sockets will serve you well, but be careful not to expect the results of Heavy Duty ratcheting IMPACT Guns using air tools. Pay attention to the sounds and performance of the 18+Volt Impact Drivers to not over work the tool. On the same note DO EXPECT the same TORQUE to be applied in the joints created. You may see some differences in capability of achieving 'max torque' between the 'Brushed and Brushless tools [refer to tool specs for each type]. I use my Ryobi 18 Volt+ IMPACT Driver for assembling Tool Carts, Shelving Units...etc.
