Asked by Whit April 5, 2021My opinion is that this is not the right tool to do what you described. It is a little underpowered to tackle a full 3/4 cut. A full size router with a guide could work, or a table saw with a smooth cut blade could be other ways to tackle this problem.

Asked by Mark February 23, 2021Yes, I am pretty sure any router can do this. This one is very handy for doing "roundover" tasks being cordless and light. You will want a "roundover" bit. There are several sizes depending on what profile you are looking for.

Asked by MajorCensus February 2, 2021You really need to go to a Home Depot in person and put your hands on the demo/display models to get a feel for their size. This "mini" router really isn't that much smaller than a full size router, especially with the battery attached.
Would this be a good tool for cutting a juice groove into a cutting board?
Asked by Carl January 25, 2021I have used this router to put juice grooves in my cutting boards and have found that you must make very light passes when doing so. This router is underpowered in my opinion for doing the job and is better suited for edge trimming and mild straight cut grooves. I am switching to a corded 2 1/4 HP router for my juice grooves as the time consuming shallow passes around the boards takes up a lot of time and i have had to deal with tear out from numerous passes. this is a good router, just not Great for doing juice grooves.
