AnswersIf your battery is only charging to fifty percent it means that you have a dead cell within your battery. So time to take it to Home Depot drop it off in their recycling bin. Before you take it to Home Depot call the company and get another battery sent to you because those battery have a warranty on them.

Excellent product idea. My father in law bought my a Ryobi combo tool kit about 15 years ago. It had the old 18V NiCad batteries. Over time the batteries just couldn't take or keep a charge and the kit was shelved. Then this new Lithium battery and charger came to light. It still fits and runs all of my tools in the combo kit! I have now taken it to the cottage where just one battery will suffice all of my needs.
No other brand has this great feature. They want you to buy all new tools too!
They all should be required to follow this leader in battery powered tools!

Saw allowed me to cut a subfloor 1/2" from the wall. And the carbide wood blade even cut thru a couple of iron square nails. Don't even think of using it with anything less than a 4ahr battery, at least with my 1" subfloor. Lots of power with the 4ahr but not with the 2ahr battery. Haven't used it for anything else at this point. Purchased if just for this job and it accomplished it in less than a half hour! Saving me hours!
Note that if you lash the handle down with a zip tie, you can use the saw just like a conventional skill saw.

Another One + tool in the collection. These tools are affordable and good quality making them great for the handyman or weekend warrior. They work well and they cut well too. The best part is that they use the same battery as the rest of the One + portfolio. Overall a good value purchase that looks good too. The caw come with a guide to help maintain a consistent rip cut. Good tool and reasonably priced.

This particular multi-material saw is a tool only. You muddy have or you need to purchase the required Ryobi batteries. This saw is a little gem in my pack of cordless saws. It's multi-material blades are easy to cut with and make working on different projects convenient. The ease of use when making pocket hole cuts easily makes this my go to saw of choice. Being a small saw with its blades had given me slight difficulty when changing out the different blades. Perhaps is my large hands. I have yet to find a retailer that has these blades for sell.

This is a handy little rig. Its very light weight and the battery life is not bad, even with the smaller battery. It come with a small rip attachment that is very handy and three different blades. Ive only used the blade intended for wood so far but I have a project cumming up with some cultured marble that I am curious to see haw well the masonry bald works. I'm sure it will be great given the handy size and weight.

Precision cuts on wood, metal and tile with one tool simply by changing blades. I tried this saw on all three and loved the performance. Changing blades in easy with the store-on-board hex key. The adjustable plunge cut allows for accurate and repeatable depth of cut as well as being able to set the saw down after the cut without worrying about the spinning blade. I also used the plunge setting to score the top of the tile before cutting all the way through which reduced chipping. The saw guide is adjustable and secure. Dust collection is easy with the attached hose connection. I do a lot of work with fine strips of wood and the 0.04” kerf on the wood blade makes it easy to cut uniform strips while saving expense hardwood when compared to the 0.125” kerf of the standard blade. Battery life was much greater than the Ryobi circular saw.

Great quality smaller circular saw. Ryobi has put together a lightweight, smaller, high quality, comfortable saws. They all use the same charger and battery, so nice not to have so many extras laying around. This one was used to cut compost wood to surround post on our back porch. The three specialty blades that come with it gives you a choice for different materials.

Perfect circular saw for those not-so-big jobs. Compact in size, but plenty of power and a great addition for those who already own a Ryobi 18v tool or three. Comes with three blades cutting for wood, metal, and tile, as well as a guide for rip cutting and a shop vac adapter for managing the sawdust. As another added bonus, it’s much quieter than a full size circular. Blade changes are a cinch with the included 4mm wrench, and it’s equally easy to set up your cutting depths with an easy to read gauge on the front of the saw. Maximum cutting depth is an inch, and it cut through a scrap 1x6 like butter. Only gripe: I wish it had included a carry case / bag. This is a tool only, so if you don’t already have another Ryobi 18v tool, you’ll need to order a battery.

This is a portable battery operated hand saw which has sufficient power for most materials which are of an appropriate size. I found it to have plenty of power for a battery operated circular saw, in that it has 3 3/8" sized blades, so your max thickness is probably about 1.5 or 1.75" at most. I tired it on 3/4 inch oak plywood, and found it to have an easy time cutting the boards. It probably can cut the 1.5" side of a 2X4" board, but that is really pushing it.
Anyway, For quick little jobs its works pretty well, with I would say almost too many safety features. What I mean is that there is no setting of the blade depth, you use your thumb and press the release button, and then press down on the saw as shown in a a couple of my pictures. The blade then extends to its max or to the limit depth setting which you must preset before cutting. I find that a bit difficult to use in that with light materials especially, you have to then have a very solid backing for your cut or the blade will bounce from the setting to retracted and your cut will not be good. I much prefer setting the blade depth, then gradually making the cuts. The way you must use this tool, you have to press down continually, or the blade will retract. I do not like that method. Anyway, for boards on a flat cutting surface, it will work fine. Otherwise be careful.
