2,300 PSI 1.2 GPM High Performance Electric Pressure Washer is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 893.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Power Washer, 5 Stars on all Counts! I really like this Ryobi 2300 PSI 1.2 GPM High Performance Electric Pressure Washer and I recommend it. It arrived in excellent condition and I had it ready to use in about 10 minutes. It makes for a compact, light weight (49 pound) nicely balanced, self contained power washer that is long on cleaning ability. What I like most; 1. The rotating "turbo" nozzle makes cleaning large areas fast with excellent coverage (see video). 2. Includes a 35 ft GFIC cord, 25 ft light weight high pressure hose, large soap tank and 3 tips. 3. Nice large wheels with rubber treads. Compact, easy to move and store. 4. Brushless 13 amp. high performance induction motor with single ON/OFF button. 5. Using it is a pleasure. It is not too loud, it is easy to handle, it just cuts and cleans great. 6. It is an excellent value and it comes with a Ryobi 3-year limited warranty. I have provided several photos and and a short demo video to give the prospective buyer an idea of how well and how fast this unit will clean.

This 4-star review replaces an earlier 1-star review that I originally posted on November 2, 2018. The original rating was due to two factors: the unit stopped working after only a few hours of use, and the Ryobi-approved service shops in the suburban Boston area appeared to be unwilling or incapable of handling a warranty claim. My reason for upgrading the review now to 4-stars is that Ryobi came through and addressed my issues. Any company can have a faulty product escape from the corral. And any company can have less than stellar support from their service network. For me, the real test for a company is whether it takes their customers' problems seriously and attempts to rectify a bad situation. In my case, Ryobi had an employee monitoring these reviews, and he immediately made an effort to get in contact with me. He put me in touch with the Ryobi Product Manager for the entire product line. The product manager contacted me even though he was in the middle of a foreign business trip. These individuals worked with me to ensure that I received a warranty replacement and that I am back to being a happy customer. Since I loved the design and performance of the product to begin with, this addresses my issue and I am happy to upgrade my review to 4-stars. (I need to knock off one star for going through the whole experience in the first place, but again -- I am impressed with the seriousness with which Ryobi took my concerns and the effort they made to ensure that my problems were addressed.) I will not be able to use & test the new unit until next spring, since it is already freezing here. If necessary, I will submit yet another review next year, but for now I am assuming that the replacement unit will live up to the four-star rating I am now giving it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as my 2700 psi gas unit. I have used gas pressure washers for many years and I'm generally fed up maintaining gas motors. I decided to switch to electric for almost all lawn care and housecare needs. When I purchased this pressure washer I was expecting something sub-par compared to its gas counterparts, but I am left impressed instead. Now, this won't replace a 4000Psi pressure washer used for stripping paint etc, but it easily replaces a 2000-3000psi gas unit used for cleaning driveways, walls, decks, and the list goes on. This unit had no issues cleaning my paver driveway, concrete walkways, painted concrete pool deck, or wood decking. The turbo nozzle makes fast work on any tough surface, and it hooks up to my car foam cannon perfectly too. All around this is a huge win, and an excellent device. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a powerful pressure washer but doesnt want the upkeep of a gas unit. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Product I am truly a Ryobi girl and have not been dissappointed!! The front walk up of our building has not been cleaned in years and was stating to turn black and grow moss in some places. You can see the dramatic difference between my neighboring walk ups and mine in the center. You almost couldn’t see the parking stripes in the parking lot. This power washer was fast to assemble and I was cleaning the sidewalk in no time. The different models are easy to switch out and the wand handle is comfortable for my height and arm length. Many times these times of products are designer for individuals with longer arms or stronger hand grip. It was easy to construct the handle to activate the sprayer and I was able to clean large spaces quickly before switching hands for angle adjustments. I am so happy with is power washer and loved adding it to my lime green collection of quality tools. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My goal was to find an electric pressure washer that would be easy to maneuver and use, and which also approached the power and performance of a gas model, but without the hefty price tag of a professional/industrial electric machine. After much research, I chose the Ryobi 2300 PSI high-performance model, and have not been disappointed. Using the 15-degree nozzle, and without soap, the machine has effectively removed accumulated grime and algae build-up on my concrete sidewalks and patios. Using a less-intensive nozzle, or greater distance from the surface being cleaned, the machine has also been effective at removing dirt and grime from siding, windows, and gutters. I would recommend carefully reading, and adhering to, all of the instructions. However, once you become familiar with the machine's operation, it is very easy to use, transport, and store. My experience thus far has been completely positive, and I would recommend this machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed. I am used to using a gas pressure washer with 4000 psi. It died on me today, and I decided to try this electric pressure washer. I chose this one since it was the highest pressure available in an electric unit. Assembly took about 4 minutes. Handle snaps in place, three included nozzles snap into holders, and metal extension screws into trigger wand. Hose screws into want handle and pump. Hose and power cord make the reach very good. The power cord is nice and long with a built in GFI. I used it for 4 hours straight the motor runs continously while on. When the trigger is pulled, the motor ramps up and the pressure builds immediately. I was very happy with the pressure. I got to close to deck railing and stripped a little paint in a few spots, but that was my fault. I am very happy I took the risk and got electric. It works awesome! I was looking for an electric PW mostly for light residential use such as car wash and cleaning patios. I looked through many models and reviews, realizing that the Ryobi is the best overall PW in its class due to its brushless induction motor, rugged yet simple design that resembles a scaled down pro unit rather than a gimmicky and plasticky homeowner unit, and what I hope is long life. It does not stop when not being used like some other models but I regard this as a non-problem. Pro model PWs usually don't have detergent dispensers since they rely on high pressure; if I want soap I simply attach an inexpensive "foam cannon" to the wand in which detergent has no chance of entering the pump. Other advantages of this model are a metal (stainless?) pressure wand that accepts standard nozzles that can be purchased inexpensively online, a 25 foot rugged PU pressure hose with standard 0.25 inch connections, and a 35 foot electric cord with GFCI thoughtfully placed away from the plug. You can use this with a 25 foot heavy duty 12/3 outdoor extension if you wish. The turbo nozzle works great but must be used at a distance of ~6" to clean concrete, so be prepared to spend some time. This model has all metal construction and lacks the useless hose reels and extra detergent tanks present on lesser models. Note that all home electrical models have a maximum of 13-14A motor, meaning that all have similar power- the pressure/GPM ratings can be misleading since they are dependent on the nozzle used. I also advise clearing and lubing the pump after each use with a 1-2 sec spritz of B&S aerosol pump cleaner, If you are looking for a well-made electrical residential unit, this is pretty much it. You will be happy that you spent the extra $$,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality and versatility. Makes other electric pressure washers look bad. Really good electric pressure washer. Will do just about anything around the house that a gas pressure washer will do, without the hassel of fueling and slow start ups. Very well made and designed. Has a lot of power and does great washing Vehicles. The turbo nozzle (do not use on vehicles will remove paint) will rip through just about any mess or remove old paint from hard surfaces in no time. Works great with a surface cleaner as well and will fit most attachments/accessories. As with any pressure washer, make sure all air is flushed out of hoses to ensure that you maintain water pressure. A GFCI is built into the cord for safety and convenience. The GFCI is conveniently place on the cord( located about 8 to 10 inces behind the point of connection ) and does not get in the way of electrical connections. I have done alot of research and have used many other name brand electric power washers, in my option this make and model is the best all around electric power washer on the market.
