The amount of pressure will help you hold on to it, also the grit of the pads that you are using affects how hard it grips the work area.
You can, but since it is a rotating sander, it may wonder away on you, unlike the pal sander.
Hi Houselady! Thank you for your question and interest in our product. Yes, you can certainly use this unit to remove paint.
Hello Goof! Please contact Home Depot or www.homedepot.com with questions regarding pricing, promotions, and stock availability. They can be reached at 1-800-466-3337. Thanks for reaching out to us! - Eve
Hello yankee19. If you need parts to fix it, you need to contact ryobi. Just remember, by the time you get the part, pay for it and the shipping, and put in the effort to repair it, you can buy a new one. Or if you want, you can spend a bit more and get a much better sander, like a Makita.
Thank you sandy for your inquiry. RYOBI does not produce an adaptor, though accessory adaptors can be found with the local Home Depot and Home Depot online. ~Hope this helps, Ashley
Taco, Available replacement parts can be ordered direct; from the Master Parts Distributor Gardner Inc. at, 1-877-634-5704. Thank you ~ Ashley
You are correct. I do not know why as you say, it is labeled a SHEET sander when it is NOT. This sander uses DISC type sand paper. I hope HD reads this reply so they can correct this description. As for the sander, it works great! Be sure you select the correct grit for your sanding job.
Hi M112, The conection works with 1-1/4" hose. Thanks for asking. Greg
HI NBDC, This may be a little aggressive for soap stone. The vibratory sheet sander would be better but even that could be aggressive. Hope this helps. Greg
