This tape measure is a little bigger than I thought. With small hands, it is big, but small enough that I can still lock it with 1 hand. The lock is easy to operate, unlike the DeWalt I got that required both my hands to push it down and back up to lock. I didn't realize this measure tape is pretty wide, and I love that the numbers are printed in large size and there is a number for every 1/8 of an inch, which is nice. I don't have to count anymore. The only thing I don't like is that the tape is curved up on both side because of the metal piece at the beginning of the tape. So, if I wanted to read the measurement within an inch, I will need to turn the measurement slightly toward my eyes to read the 1/8 markers. Other than that, which is a little inconvenient, but for the price and quality, it is worth it.

Disappointing
So I've bought quite a few ryobi tools, all the way from their bandsaw and drill press to many of the 18 volt series with mixed results, a lot of their tools are hit or miss but good enough to keep me coming back, but i bought this tape measure out of brand loyalty and it was no exception. It's comfortable to use and very easy to read, however the clip may as well be made of butter; it doesn't want to hold on to anything which makes taking long measurements very tricky and worst of all less than a month after buying it, i was retracting it (rather slowly i might add) the clip caught on a piece of equipment and broke clean off and the tape rolled up into itself, leaving me at work without my most important tool. Given the track record that I've seen with their other tools, this will likely be the last one i buy from them.

Great Tape measure
Comparable to the rest but why is this tape measure so hard to find!? Took me months to be able to order online then before i could buy more they dissapeared again never to be seen. Only other compalint was that the only option was to ship to store and it went through without any package or bubble wrap (bare) and was damaged (superfiscial). Please protect product HD. Simple fix but besides that I love it!
