A: I did not keep the bagger because it involved changing the blades for smaller ones than the original ones.

Q:Does this work with leaves and how do I know when the bags are full?

If the bag full indicator stops spinning when the bags are not full, check for a clog in the tubes. I hope this helps! A must have accessary for RYOBI Electric Riding Mower for leaves cleanings

This is a great bagger that really does the job. I bought a RYOBI 30 in RYOBI Electric Riding Mower this past summer without considering of removing leaves. Later I came across an advertisement and got to know this accessary for the fall season. Just used it for the first time today and I was fully satisfied with its great design and user friendly. Strongly recommend to have one if you have large trees in your yard or neighborhood.

good bags but alittle small.

Great accessory for the ryobi riding lawn mower. Fairly easy to install. Does come with new blades that have to be used. System isnt too heavy so weighing down or draining the batteries isnt an issue. The 2 bags are easy to take out and empty. I do wish the bags were slightly bigger because if you over fill the bags it clogs the tube and if the tube clogs then you have to detatch the tube and clean all the debris out which has happened several times during leaf fall season.

Replacement part not available

I have been using this bagger since spring, recently noticed the elastic sleeve on the top that holds the upper tube in place has torn, OK, let's call Ryobi. Oh, it only has a 90 day warranty. And, the replacement top is NOT available! So, I'm forced to purchase another bagger kit to replace this defective item? C'mon Ryobi, you sell these kits, and your replacement parts web page shows a part number! How about servicing the needs of the customers who keep your company flowing with cash! Whadaya say?
