Wow, 3 year old leaves
I just blew matted 3 year old stuck down leaves with 8 inch cover. They are gone! This may not have the most power, but it meets my needs!

    Handy blower to have.
Ordered online and opted for 'curb side' delivery at our HD in Grants Pass, OR. However, after texting the store that I was in the parking lot and then waiting 10 minutes, I went inside to pick up the blower. No reflection on the product and besides they gave me a $25 discount for having to wait outside. The product itself is great. Light as a feather, until you insert the battery, then a little on the heavy side. Balance is good. Blows leaves as it should and pretty quiet. The pluses are no gas and oil to mix, no sparkplug to change and no need to wear 'ear muffs'. Also, easy to store. Just remove the 'tube' and you have a compact piece of equipment to hang on a wall out of the way. Overall, very happy with the blower

    VERY NICE BLOWER!
I needed a blower for another location and picked this up and really like it. I own other cordless blowers from another big brand company and like them a lot so I am comparing it to this experience. This Ryobi is a bit more powerful and much quieter than my others but it doesn't accelerate like the other ones, not even close. The Ryobi has a great adjustable handle that I really like, it makes it super easy and comfortable to use. It is nearly twice as heavy as my other cordless blowers so this handle design really helps. Unfortunately Ryobi failed to include a lock to hold the blower running that's an oversight and at this price point should be a standard feature. The "turbo boost" button while it works well seems a bit gimmicky. All in all a very solid blower.

      Strong
This works well! I recommend it because it is Powerful and Convenient. I bought only the blower at my Home Depot since I already own multiple 40v Ryobi tools with batteries. It weighs just 10 pounds and the handle adjusts to work for both short and tall users. Plus, it is quiet and only slightly noisy when you press the Turbo button. The only area I recommend improvement is battery life (and the only reason I cannot give 5 stars) ... the battery was half-way discharged in 15 minutes. So, if I get 30 minutes from a 4 amp hour battery I can swap it out with another and charge them alternatively. And, yes, it even works with my Ryobi 5 amp hour lawn mower battery.

This thing is a monster! I love the power, the turbo mode for tricky spots, and the overall use of the battery system is amazing. Super easy to assemble and these batteries work perfectly with the Ryobi mower as well so that was well worth buying into the ecosystem they’ve built. Big fan.

        Quiet and Powerful
I bought this blower after hours of research and reading of reviews on the internet. I have had it for over a month not and I love it. The battery always last long enough and it is very powerful and quiet so i don't feel like it is annoying to my neighbors like some lawn equipment can be. I even created a video review, and decibel testing: https://youtu.be/Hk6chyI1JFo

Tube didn’t fit correctly, it wouldn’t clip in. Ryobi Customer service was no help. It really doesn’t seem to have much power turbo button may as well just be incorporated into the throttle trigger because I use it all the time.

            Quiet and powerfull
This unit is decently built. The turbo/boost button is a little finicky/touchy, but it was my first time. I cleared out my drive way, deck and garage with plenty of power. This unit is also fairly quiet compared to any other blower I've heard. I will note that the battery dropped to one bar in that short time. I would of liked to see a larger battery and runtime out of the unit as this fall I am sure ill need more then one battery. I would say I got around 20 mins of solid runtime with one and off use of the turbo button so not the greatest to be honest.

I am a homeowner of 30 years in the same house. I have seen the canopy of trees spread over my property as both a blessing and a curse. Living in Texas these trees provide the shade but also tons of biomass in leaves and pollen every spring and fall. Texas Live Oaks loose their leaves in the spring, other oaks in the fall so we have major leave clean up twice a year. Leaf management with a blower is critical. I was skeptical of both power and endurance of an electric blower given these circumstances. After using this blower for a few days of heavy use I am impressed. I first ventured into Ryobi electric with the purchase of the line trimmer with the 40 volt battery, then I purchased the electric mower, so I'm vested in the Ryobi brand and batteries. If you get this leaf blower I would recommend 2 batteries. I have a lot of river rock as part of my landscaping and this blower did a good job of getting the leaves out. I was able to clean front sidewalks and driveway and clean a large back deck with one battery, but it would be wise to have at least 2. What I like about this blower is 1. It's much quieter than a gas blower. 2. The Ryobi electric is well balanced and the weight, with the adjustable handle is very manageable. 3. The trigger gives you variable power but I operate at full power most of the time, only occasional using the "Turbo" button. 4. No gas storing, oil mixing, spilling, no smell; is great. Overall using this blower is much more convenient to use than its gas counterpart. With the trigger the blower is on or off and powers up every time, no hard start-up, no gas idling. Changing direction or taking short a break, setting the blower down, all easy. Because the blower is so easy to use I'll break it out for little clean up jobs. I can walk through the house with the blower to get to the back deck, in fact I've blown leaves out the front door from inside the house. I recommend this blower, for small, medium and semi heavy? work loads, maybe not commercial and I'm a big fan electric in general.

I was skeptical that a battery powered blower would help me manage our property. Lots of decking, porches, patios, drives and garages. Pleasantly surprised. I ran it for 10 minutes with about 15% to 20% of that on 'turbo'. Still having juice in the battery, I continued running it (thinking I was close to depleting the battery). After I got tired of waiting, I pulled the battery off and placed it on the charger. Based on the gauges, I believe I still had 25% to 40% remaining. Love the quiet 59 db, compared to my gas blower. and it's lighter too. Plenty of power.

This is an impressive leaf blower that is powerful, yet still quite at 59db. Hearing protection isn’t required until noise exceeds 85db. I have been using a 40v Ryobi weed wacker for about 2yrs trouble free so I figured I’d give this leaf blower a try. I was impressed. When you hit that turbo button, this tool matches the performance of a gas model without the noise fuel and maintenance requirements. To conserve battery life, only use the turbo button when you need it. This leaf blower is on the heavy side, but Ryobi made the handle adjustable so you can angle the blower down and that really helps with fatigue because you can basically just let the blower hang and twist your wrist to send the leaves where you want them. The harder you squeeze the trigger, the faster the blower spins. I love this feature because it gives you greater control of where you’re blowing your leaves.

This Ryobi 40-Volt leaf blower with its 4.0 Ah battery proved very capable in handling my quarter acre lawn. Plus, it does so without being overly loud or producing any high pitched whirl. I like the convenience of the Turbo button on the handle that instantly boosts the blower into “High” as long as you are pressing it. I found myself using it quite often. However, it’s not exactly lightweight. With its battery, the blower weighs a hefty 10.3 lbs. The adjustable tilting handle helps to balance the unit in your hand and reduce fatigue somewhat. And, it feels a bit bulky due to its obtrusive air intake at the rear which kept bumping into my leg. When recharging the battery, its fuel level indicator lights up showing the amount of charge as it progresses toward “Full,” providing good feedback, especially since it takes about two hours to fully charge. Overall, it’s a very capable blower while being a bit quieter than others. However, its handling is affected by its weight and bulky air intake.

I haven't had a chance to try it on grass yet. But it does a great job on fluffy snow, as well as some leaves mixed in. The blower is variable speed, and the handle angle adjusts so it is comfortable to hold the blower at an angle. I need it all the way back, but a shorter person would find less of an angle more comfortable. You can remove the shoot from the blower without tools. So I can store it on the shelf easily. The charger slides onto the battery, and is powered by a detachable power supply. I guess it is OK, but I like the wall mount one I already have better.

This is a really well-designed unit. It has variable thrust and plenty of power, plus a big 40 volt battery. You get the charger with it, which is nice since the 40 volt batteries have a different mount. The weight and balance are perfect, and it's quiet but powerful. I love how simple it was to charge/assemble/use. Someone thought through the design rather thoroughly. I included a video of a quick cleanup of leaves and both dry and wet bird seed from the deck so you can see it in action. I used it out front to clear the dirt and debris from the steps and sidewalk. The variable speed came in handy, allowing me to dial back the thrust to push the smaller and lighter stuff. Very pleased with this unit.

This Ryobi 125 MPH 550 CFM 40-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Jet Fan Leaf Blower with 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger Included is a beast, easily equal to my galsoline-powered leaf blower. This is the third of these 40 volt outdoor tools I have gotten, and none of them have disappointed. Three tools means I now have three interchangeable batteries, although the battery in this unit outlasted my arm. This blower easily dislodges things that are stuck, and could even dig a hole in the ground. The turbo buttom doubles the power when you need more, which is seldom. This 40-volt line of Ryobi tools is fantastic. No more praying and cursing to get the gas-blower started! It is also surprisingly quiet. Normally, hearing protection is an absolute must with one of these, but not this one.

A good powerful leaf blower for most any residential yard. I have several Ryobi battery tools (drill, driver, sander, etc) and have been very happy with their power and battery life. This is my first Ryobi yard power tool and I'm very impressed with the power of this blower. There really isn't much reason for gas yard tools any longer outside of commercial. The blower is a bit on the heavy side but in line with all of the others in this class of power (they do make smaller lighter models too). My neighbor has the Ego brand and this was similar in size. Ryobi seemed to have a bit more blowing power than the Ego. It's a nice feature that the handle adjusts the angle. The battery is mounted on the top near the handle which makes the weight centered and balanced around your hand. The trigger is easy comfortable finger operation. The battery is bigger then the ones for smaller power tools like drills but bigger is needed for yard work. You do need to push a button on the battery to get the reaming level but it's nice to be able to see when it's running low. Turbo boost button on top is good if you need a blast for something stubborn. All in all another solid battery tool from Ryobi.

The battery was charged so I just had to put it on the blower and away I went! And, it was EASY to assemble. This Blower is powerful and - here comes the best part - QUIET! It is also lighter in weight than other blowers that I have. So, I was able to do most of my 1/4 acre property without tiring so quickly! YES, I recommend this Blower! Good for leaves and other debris cleanup.

I own a house with over a acre of lawn and I have leaves, helicopters, pin needles etc.. for 3/4 of the year so I have many leaf blowers from gas to electric. I am torn about this blower because it has it's good and bad points. The adjustable handle is awesome so it can be tailored to your body but the weight of the blower is on the heavy side and the blower tube can be hard to remove because of the design. The air flow is great with the variable trigger and the turbo boost button works great. The length is shorter than the blower I'm using but like I said it weights about 2lbs more so it will cause early fatigue. The blower is a little quieter but I use ear protection so that's not a big deal for me. The battery has a good reserve of 4.0 ah but it takes 2 hours to charge when the battery is depleted and it only comes with one battery. The charger doesn't have a fan and just snaps on the top so it's on the cheap side but it does save space when you store it.

The Ryobi 40V Cordless Leaf Blower is extremely powerful! It has a variable speed switch as well as a secondary boost button. It definitely impressed me with the volume of air that it blows, especially in the boost mode. It comes with a charger and a 4.0 AH battery. The battery is interchangeable with other Ryobi 40V tools and has a built in four-LED level indicator on one end. When boost is selected it does seem to use more battery as one would expect. In my initial test with the boost selected the battery was down under 50% charge in 6 minutes. I would expect more battery capacity using the standard speed setting. The unit weighs in at around 10 pounds with the battery, and has a 5 year limited warranty when used in residential applications. I am completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this to others!

I like this cordless blower. I have a pretty decent corded blower and a very nice Echo gas blower. But this cordless blower is superior. Why? Because it doesn't need a cord or gas or oil. It seems to be almost as powerful as my Echo gas blower yet it is no louder than my corded blower. It also has its air intake in the rear instead of on the side and that makes it easy to use on either side of your body. The only drawback I can cite is its weight. With the battery installed it seems to weigh about as much as my Echo gas blower. However, it has a very ergonomic handle which makes the weight less of an issue. If I could change one thing about this unit I would fix it so that you can lock the turbo mode on all the time. In fact, IMO the turbo mode should be the default mode and the turbo button should turn turbo mode off instead of on. I had intended to take before and after pictures of my deck and yard to show how good a job it did in blowing off the leaves but I wanted to first get used to the machine to make sure I gave a fair review. It turned out to be so easy to use that in a matter of minutes I was completely done and it was too late to take the before picture. I'm posting the after picture and you'll just have to take my word for it that the area shown was completely buried in leaves before I removed them with the Ryobi blower.
