Amazing Tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a while back and it finally snowed. If I had only had something like this years ago. The hours of my life I've wasted shoveling. I'm the chap that will say "I shovel for the exercise" or "I don't want a riding lawnmower so I can walk and push"….but this is FUN. I did that driveway in about five minutes. Incredible. Took it out again in the evening to check out the lights. Just awesome. I did everything TWICE over and there's still bars on the dual batteries. The area was 45x15 feet. Went through it like butter. No effort at all. In fact at one point I was pushing it one handed to move out of the way the wind was blowing into me and had no problem pushing forward. Starts up flawlessly. Powerful. The lights take it to another level, doing it at night is a breeze. This will actually make me look forward to it snowing!!

    Worth its weight in gold
Blower worked great, used the night before to clean patio for the dogs and drive way. Batteries worked for a half hour maybe longer still half charged. Driveway was 16 ft X. 40 ft. Broke out the blower the next day to do some clean up. Pic included. Charge batteries completely before using days in advance of storm. As direct!!

      Excellent small snowblower
Bought this just ahead of blizzard this weekend and after reading many reviews it performed very well in sections that were under 10 inches we had over 24 inches with drifts had no problems with handles collapsing and motors shutting down even though snow was way over blowers top only issue was that chute kept drifting from position I set it at snowblower performance was excellent considering it was way out of its league in 24 inches of snow at anything under 10 inches it will perform excellent batteries should have sufficient charge for medium size driveway batteries take 4-5 hours to charge picture of my driveway left side is low because I was out in blizzard night before with snowblower

        Good for the money
Just had 2 feet of snow ( blizzard). Went out twice to do large driveway and walks. Performed well and batteries lasted about 45 minutes each time. It took what would have been an all day job and in 2 passes during the snow it cleared everything very well. 40 minutes each time. Only negative is charging batteries takes too long. I recommend purchasing the rapid charger which I have ordered.

          very impressed
I was very impressed with this little machine. Went through 2 foot snowdrifts with no problem at all. Super light and easy to push through any snow. The only downfall is the battery run time. Would definitely recommend getting a fast charger and extra batteries. Luckily we had extra batteries from the Ryobi lawnmower.

            Overall - Very Happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big Ryobi fan and own a ton of 18V products. I was nervous about the going to a battery operated show blower. I am trying to write this review like one I would have wanted to read before I purchased. Pros: First use with 3" of medium wet snow, the Ryobi cleared in total approximately 1350 sq. ft. including the driveway (40 X 30) and a bunch of 4' wide sidewalk and still had half battery life left on both batteries when finished. Push start was great and no "unexpected turn offs" like you read in some reviews. Having the snow shoot control lever was a game changer in the time to clear the area. Very quite. Lightweight. Second use was 2 days later and cleared same area with about 1" of medium wet snow. Had 3/4 battery life left after that use. Cons: As stated in many reviews, this unit does not pull itself along with the rubber paddles like my old gas powered Toro did. You do have to push the unit into the snow the entire time. With 3" of snow it was no big deal, I might change my mind with 6"-8", time will tell. With the snow shoot straight forward it throws the snow far and very efficiently. The further left or right you go the less efficient it gets. At 90 degrees the performance really lacks especially with the smaller snow fall amount of 1". Really not a big deal because the shoot adjustment lever makes it so easy to be precise in where you throw the snow. Lastly, I am concerned with the overall depth of the rubber paddles. On my gas powered Toro the rubber paddles wore down over time and had to be replaced but they were at least an inch deep when new. There is very little extra rubber between the metal connection points. If you look close in the pics you can see wear threads showing after 2 uses. I guess time will tell if the paddles have to be replaced more frequently than my Toro after a few season of use. Overall: Very Happy and would recommend to friends and family.

              40 VOLT SNOW BLOWER
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I PURCHASED THIS SNOW BLOWER A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND IT HAS PERFORMED GREAT. I HAVE TWO BATTERIES AND ON A 4 INCH SNOW I HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO CLEAR 4 DOUBLE DRIVES BEFORE I RUN OUT OF POWER. VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

                Mixed results
Takes some effort to use this in heavy snow but got it done. Batteries last about 20 minutes may need 2nd pair. First storm was nearly a foot should handle less snow with no problem

                  I cannot recommend this enough
I live in buffalo. just cleared 30ft of my driveway of 2ft of lake effect snow with this lil tank. batteries lasted about 30mins at full bore. wish the handle was alittle stiffer, but that's the only complaint I have

                    Be gentle!
I weigh 115lbs. In low, if it wouldn't walk forward easy would stop & go for a few ft then would get going No problem. On anything ice not snow, would lean it backwards so rubber band could chip away, back up and do over. Whole corner in 10min.
