how do i get service done on this, i got it last summer went to use this summer and does not work after 2 hours. you can hear the moving but the blades are not moving

There is a limited warranty, find your receipt and call Ryobi, they will make that determination. They will then tell you to bring it back to Home Depot for repair. It may take a while to get repaired but they are pretty good about it, both Ryobi and Home Depot
Will this work with a 40v 4.0 Ah battery instead of the 2.0 Ah?
Yes, it works well, and I switch between them when trimming a long hedge. However the 4Ah battery is heavier and changes the balance of the trimmer, though not significantly.
