    Wow it works good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent simplicity makes this mower great! Price function ratio superior to gas mowers!

I love my Ryobi riding lawn mower
It's easy to use and looks good. A good addition to my gardening equipment. I'm happy with the way it works and battery lasts long enough to do all the work needed.

!!DO NOT BUY!!-Stopped charging after 9hrs use!
I have really liked this mower as it has lasted a few months of summer mowing in GA. My neighbors also have taken interest in the battery powered mower... However, I only have 10 hours on it and the charger/charge port on the unit has stopped working. For $4k my expectation is that it will last a season without a major failure like this. Very disappointing and will most likely return and buy another brand as well as tell neighbors to buy something else unless ryobi can make this right.

        Battery Issues
Purchased the mower August 2021, worked great until September 2022 when i would be lucky to get 20 mins of mowing before the blades would shut off. I got the batteries tested and they are bad. The mower was garage kept and always on the charger, (21 hours of use). Read the other reviews. everyone is having the same issues. Oh and if i am going to replace the batteries every year, could they have at least made it an easy process.

Third review and each have disappeared
I received the 75ah 480e mower on 09/05/2020. Mower performed as advertised for the 3 months left in the mowing season. Mower stayed on charger for winter in garage. Next season mower would not cut as long. Checked batteries and they were above 90 percent health. Ryobi was good about sending me parts . First was battery gauge. Second was 2 controllers for blade motors. 3rd 2 blade motors. All didn’t fix . Mower at this time would last 30 minutes of cutting. 2021 season started with 30 minutes and in early May would only last 10 minutes. Took to service center May 18th and still no news on status August 8th. I have extended warranty. Ryobi needs to stand by their product and give a new unit when someone has this much problems with the mower. Looking at the reviews too many people are having the same issues. I know this mower will not stand the test of time. All 5 star reviews are on brand new units. This is my 3rd review and the other 2 disappeared, I wonder why? No response from Ryobi! Greg

No longer charges after less than a year
Less than a year since purchase it won't charge. RYOBI support sent a replacement charger which took two weeks to arrive and didn't resolve the issue. Now they are sending a replacement charging receptacle. If it doesn't work I'll have to take the mower to a service center. I will have lost at least a month of mowing time. I am disappointed. Oh and the bagger is terrible, though technically that is listed as a separate product and so should be reviewed separately.

              Very capable and fun mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower has far surpassed my expectations. I recently purchased 5 acres of land that was covered in Johnson grass up to 4' tall in some places. I've used this mower to tame the ditches and a few necessary sections around the property. It's able to mow through the thicker grass and the Johnson grass with little effort (I just slow down a little if it does get to be too much, which you'd have to do with a gas mower). It can go up and down the steep ditch sides with no issues. And it's quiet; the whir of the blade motors and blades through the air are the noisiest part, and that's not very loud. Being raw land next to a road, there have been a few times I've unfortunately discovered buried metal with this mower. I mowed over part of a semi-buried T-post and a metal bracket next to an AT&T pedestal, but aside from some knicks in the blades, the mower just keeps chugging along, still leaving nicely-mowed grass! No wobble or damage to the mower deck or the motor spindles or anything. I've already purchased a few replacement blades for once I'm done "discovering" trash. This mower is so easy and fun to drive, even my wife loves mowing with it! It can pull a garden trailer with me in it, making it very versatile for many different jobs around the property. And the battery lasts surprisingly long; I'm able to mow for about an hour to an hour and a half which is enough to get mine and my neighbor's 20'-wide by 625' long ditches mowed, 6' behind the fence along the ditches, and another 400'x20' path with some battery left over, which works out to about 1/2 an acre. Not the greatest for a 5-acre lot, but until I can get the new 80V zero turn, this keeps what I need and want of my property presentable and under control! Finally, the maintenance on this mower is....well, none! I unplug it from the charger, I mow, I park it and plug it back in. I do take a few seconds to use my blower to get the grass clippings off the mower deck, but other than that, I don't have to worry about gas, oil, or filters! Tire pressure and battery charge, that's it! The battery gauge clearly indicates charging level with two red and lots (I haven't counted them) of green dashes. I typically stop mowing when I get to the red dashes just to make sure, but each dash lasts for quite awhile when mowing, so I could probably wait until the last red dash is blinking before stopping.

Good Battery, good for my 0.75 acre to mow
This is my first electric riding mower, after reading reviews and watching youtube reviews, I decided to buy one. I have 1.25 acres and about 0.75 is lawn. I have hills and bumpy ground. I replaced a John Deer E130 22hp for the 50Ah Ryobi. I have found it mows well, it takes the hills and I'm able to mow with using only about 25 to 30% battery. It came with a mulching kit which works well. To note on Youtube the batteries seem to have an average life of 2-3 years, you can buy them here at HD.

2 years and still completely satisfied
I have owned mine for 2 seasons so far. Virginia mowing from April to October. Every week right at an acre. The battery could last 3 to 4 mowings. I have a small Ryobi electric push for the tight trimming. No gas, no oli, no noise. I am a huge fan. The crate was fun to get it off off. It was delivered without the charger. customer service took care of that, but that's how I know 3 to 4 mows no charge needed.

                    Plastic is cheap
The first time I used it I was pretty happy for the first 3 quarters of my yard. But after about the tenth time of turning of the blades, then pulling the little handle back up to re-engage the blades it snapped. The plastic handle is super cheap and now I can engage the blades because the knob is busted off.
