Q:In some of the other questions, Ryobi said that it will use ANY type 27 blade, but every type 27 blade that I've found is 7/8" arbor. Can it use ANY type 27 blade or only 5/8" and circular depression?

Spindle lock button broke

Faulty on/off switch, no replacement
My grinder is hardly used but I have had it longer than the warranty coverage, it still looks new. it stopped coming on and i tested the switch with my multimeter and it is a bad switch. i looked everywhere and could not find a switch, could find everything else but no replacement switch. I called Ryobi and they don't even offer a replacement switch. Because of a cheap and faulty switch my grinder is now garbage. Another concern is Ryobi's lack of responses to their customers on a website with this much traffic.

Junk, Not enough power even to do an easy job.
I bought this to cut and grind a couple of small flagstone pieces with a masonry cutting wheel. Every time I pressed hard enough to grind or cut, the wheel stopped spinning. How it would work on concrete or metal I can’t imagine. Returning and will rent a better one. HD does not even rent ryobi Brand grinder so that should have been my first clue.
