The extension makes cutting 8' sheets a lot easier.
The extension makes cutting 8' sheets a lot easier. I tend to have to rip 4' x 8' sheets of plywood the long way. So the 55" track that comes with the saw doesn't reach. I could reposition the track halfway through the cut, but I am spoiled because my corded track saw track is long enough. Having the longer tracks is especially nice when you are cutting an angled piece.

Ridiculously Over-packaging.
There isn't much to say about the tracks other than they are overpriced for what you are getting, probably because they over-packaged them. They come in heavy duty cardboard box that is then put in another heavy duty box that was an exact fit for the first box. That alone should have been more than adequate for shipping but, no, they had to put it into a flimsy, ginormous cardboard box with a bunch of paper dunnage that would not have protected it.

Did not work for me at all.
I bought the saw and extra track. I am a builder, so I am familiar with typical power tools. The saw was so complicated that after reading the manual several times I could not understand how to set it on the track and make a cut. After much wasted time, I returned it!

Not worth the purchase. Retured the saw as the alignment...
Not worth the purchase. Retured the saw as the alignment with track was too loose and saw blade wondered. Tried all adjustments per instructions but the saw still wondered.

Nice tool
Adequate for what I need it for. Seems to be a solid joint with the bars. Longer tracks would be better.

Tracks don't align
The quality control is horrible. When joining two tracks, there is always a bump that catches the saw. This is largely be the rubber grips are not cut or glued correctly and will overhang, making it impossible to have a smooth transition.
I called and emailed Ryobi support and they never responded. Had to return.

Saw did work well, learned when doing long bevel cuts, it works best to make multiple passes or the saw boggs down. Definitely use the bigger battery.
