AnswersAnswered my own question ! - Pathetic - To all users of this compressor,,, beware!! - There are no seal kits available for the leaking regulator problem that these compressors will have. Ryobi and Home Depot's answer is buy the whole manifold assy ( while they're still available!) for approx. $50 w/ shipping! - That's pretty poor support for a small seal that maybe cost $2.00 and is an easy fix!!!! -- BTW,,, don't try to use the part # listed in the manual. It's not available. The only manifold available is Part # 079077029707. GOOD LUCK !

AnswersAll motors and mechanical devices have a life expectancy, the more it's used the sooner it will reach it, that does not necessarily shorten the usable hours but the time it takes to reach that point. I would be more concerned if it has to run none stop to keep up, as the compressor motor is not designed for continuous duty operation and heat factors. Give it a break once in a while.

I've owned this compressor for almost 3 years and what I like most about it is the vertical pancake design. It saves space and makes it easier to carry. It's lightweight at only 30 pounds it's once of the lightest 6 gallon compressors. I ran two roofing nail guns off it and it was able to keep up. I compared this to my Uncle's Ridgid 6 gallon compressor in terms of performance, and this unit takes 3:00-3:15 minutes to go from 0-150 psi, my uncle's Ridgid only takes 2:20-2:25 minutes, Maybe due to the fact that this unit has a 10 amp motor and my uncle's Ridgid is 12 amp motor. Also, this unit is 5 pounds lighter than the Ridgid which is a plus. The performance is mediocre and it would have been nice if they put a 12-13 amp motor in it to increase performance.

Purchased 9 months ago. Have literally used it 3 times. Once when it first arrived to "break in", as instructed in the manual, once to blow out the garage and today to blow out heavy dust from the kitchen refrigerator cooling coils. Then the air pressure dropped and it sounded like it's leaking air, badly. I'm assuming a fitting behind the cover shield has broken or come loose, which is unbelievable, since the compressor has been sitting in the same place in my garage since I unpacked it. I specifically purchased a long air line, so the unit wouldn't have to be moved. Will take it back to the store and beg for credit to buy another brand. I've seen other reviews online where this same thing happened, which I assume is why Ryobi has discontinued it.

The compressor is light and handy to move -- just what I was looking for. I've only used it a couple of times and it has worked properly.
The only minor hassle is the difficulty getting an air hose connector into the air output nozzles because of the tight fit and close quarters of the sleeves to the cover.
