This hardness and area is perfect for washing a car. The bristles are soft so they won't scratch clearcoat, and long enough to bend easily yet thick enough to hold water and soap during the wash.
This soft brush would be great if used on fabrics and leather, but it's main advantage is being able to hold a lot of liquid during the soap application and then working it around dissolving the top layer that holds the dirt, all by assuring there's enough water and soap film to dilute it all so that it is not abrasive.
It can be used also successfully when dry to dust off leather and fabric such as one on seating.
The base locks itself pretty well on the scrubber and stays secure even under lateral pressure on the far edges of the surface area. The base is rigid and does not bend.
Paired with the medium brush, there are no jobs that those two can't tackle.

Very Nice Brush, Yet Soft
First off this product requires a Ryobi Scrubber which costs about $80 in order to use the 8” scrubbing brush. This is because the Hook and Loop backer attaches with a triangle proprietary attachment. I got around buying a Ryobi scrubber by buying just the Ryobi head attachment for $8. With a little adaptation I was able to use this attachment on my drill. However, if I were going to use these cleaning attachments a lot, I think owning the actual scrubber would work better.
As shown in the pictures, I used this brush to clean some outdoor furniture.
I didn’t have a special cleaner, just soap and water.
It certainly did clean it well and perhaps more thoroughly than I would have done using a sponge or cloths. The bristle on this brush is nice and soft (yet sturdy) which is why I chose to use it to clean a glass table.It did a nice job of cleaning the table top.
I recommend the brush, but you will have to decide if for what topic want to clean, it is worth the cost to buy an entire system.

Very Nice Scrub Brush
The RYOBI soft bristle brush fits the ryobi power scrubber tools. I have the telescoping power scrubber and it does a great job with the 8" and 6" brushes. I use it to wash my fifth wheel RV. I use the soft brush on the outside. The bristles hold up very well also. I tried dipping the brush into a bucket with car wash in it, but the tool got wet so I sprayed the car wash solution on my RV then used the scrubber to clean it. This worked very well. This system is a big labor saver.

Big scrubber, big results
The Ryobi 8 inch soft bristle scrubber is a useful tool to have around. With it's soft bristles, this brush attachment is perfect for cleaning boats, siding, vehicles, outdoor furniture, and other surfaces.
The Triangle Connector allows this cleaning brush to be compatible with the RYOBI 18V ONE+ Power Scrubbers, but you can also adapt a power drill to this if you are clever.

Soft, great cleaning brush
The Ryobi 8 in soft bristle brush helps scrub when you don't want to use elbow grease. I used this when cleaning the bathroom mirrors and also to wash my car. I sprayed the cleaner on the surface and then turned the brush on. I just had to hold it close to the surface and didn't need to apply pressure. For the mirrors, I still needed to wipe the soap off with a clean towel. For my vehicle, I rinsed with the hose. It didn't leave a pattern on my car and left it really clean. It molded to the crevices that I can't usually access and cleaned up under the spoiler.

A good, soft bristle brush.
I do not own the tool that this brush is intended to attach to. I will be using it by hand. The stiffness of the bristles seems to be well matched for many jobs I will be encountering. The large size is great and I will likely fashion a makeshift handle for it to make it easier to use by hand. Seems the bristles would be ideal for cleaning linoleum and tile flooring, vinyl and aluminum siding, etc.

Great bristle
The bristle brush to this product is soft which is great for applying chemical to plastic vinyl on cars, UTV boat and other surfaces. This brush attachment is perfect for cleaning boats, siding, vehicles, outdoor furniture, and other surfaces. However this product only works with the Ryobi 18 volts power scrubber. It would be nice if Ryobi has and adapter to use this on other power polishing machine.

Ryobi 18v scrubber
Nice addition to my Ryobi 18v power scrubber, this 8” (blue) soft bristle brush will work out great. This brush can clean boats, cars, outdoor patio furniture, your vinyl siding on the house, and hardwood floors or furniture. With the 18v power scrubber will definitely save your arm and hands and shoulders from fatigue, I used similar brushs on drill on Maui for showers from people with dirty feet from flip flops. Both my wife and I enjoy using these brushes on the 18v power scrubber because we have arthritis in our joints, so this set up makes it easier for us to clean out tubs and shower or our car. This 8” bristle brush can be use with the Ryobi power scrubber or Ryobi telescoping power scrubber, to me these are the best way to clean today and save you time and energy. I a huge Ryobi guy so I absolutely 100% recommend this 8” Ryobi Thistle brush to friends and family, won’t be disappointed how well they help you clean.

Great brush, well made, easy to change out!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Similar to the 6" version, this brush works well for a variety of applications and is easily changed out on the cleaning tools. I like this larger size for bigger jobs, makes things much easier without having to expend all that elbow grease!
