Q:Very interested in the RYOBI 30 inch zero turn, however just a little confused. For specifications it states that the assembled width is 40.55 inches, and in the Ryobi video it stated that the product can easily fit through a standard 36 inch gate.

Ryobi Does It Again!
Absolutely incredible! Loyal to the Ryobi electric line and after recently moving into a house where the lawn was too large for my Ryobi lawnmower, I decided it was time to get a ZTR mower. This ZTR can absolutely move, easy cut adjusting, super comfortable seat, stunningly quiet. The joystick was new to me, but genius play by Ryobi. Super easy to use, and keeps your left hand free for a nice cold beverage on a summer day of mowing. Mowing is no longer a chore, it's something I enjoy doing now.

Fastest way to cut grass
I cut my mowing time in half. Short learning curve. It was easy to mow around the natural areas and I had to do less edge work. The display is easy to read. Great mower!!! My neighbor has already asked me about the new mower!!

A masterpiece of battery powered equipment
I was so excited to get my brand new 30in Ryobi ztr and it completely lived up to the hype! It blew me away the second I got it out of the box! The sleek design along with a stunning display that is visible even in direct sunlight and a fighter pilot like joystick to drive make me feel like I had stepped into the future! Having spent time in the past mowing lawns with a standard ztr I couldn’t recommend this product more. It’s truly revolutionary!

Do no and I repeat do not buy this mower
The batteries went out after two years and they’re 1700 dollars to replace that’s all you need to know. Get a gas mower and f Ryobi

Fun Machine
Been using this machine for over a year. Gets some getting use to handling with the joystick but once mastered, it is fun to use. My only complaint is the bagging system. You have to dump the clippings on the ground and transferring them to a bag since their are no bags like on most other mowers. Not quite sure why the Ryobi engineers design it this way since the larger mowers of this type use bags. If you do get a bagger, get one with the blaster. It makes clearing the chute much easier.

So far working fine, only problem only got one key for the mower. Ryobi said it comes with 3 sets .Home depot told me it comes with one.

Power and cutting ability is great but steering still needs a lot of work. It's pretty much impossible to cut a straight line and turning gets stuck a lot on slightly uneven ground. Also joystick doesn't always do exactly what you tell it to do.

Promising, but doesn't deliver..
I wrote a negative review earlier this year and was then contacted by their review department asking to work with me to improve my rating.
My issues were poor cut quality, doesn't mulch well, joy stick control is inaccurate so it's hard to steer and can't hold a line. Joystick also is intermittent in accelerating, getting the mower to start and I seem to get stuck during turns and difficult features of the lawn, landscaping, trees etc. I had a Dixon ZTR for the last twenty years and after a few cuts it became almost instinctive when turning and holding a line, but this Ryobi is disappointing.

Great machine. I probably should have bought the 42” but the 30” let’s me drive around more which is fun. Cheaper too.
