Are the mulching blades the same as the combo blades? I don't know which mine came with. I'm guessing the bagging blades since it came with a bagging system (which I don't use).

Since the bagging blades have more upswept fins ( for throwing out the grass more effectively, d...

The blades move a lot more air which means more work is being performed which requires more energy so the batteries will not last as long - but probably not a lot less.

Mowed the lawn twice since installing these... They really help getting the grass up into the bagging system compared to the stock blades. They even help the zero turn double as a leaf vacuum!

Blades are fine. The problem I'm having is the same as other reviews.Mower Will Not re-charge to 100% stops at 55, 60 and 70. Do not know what the problem is but seems Ryobi contacted the other owners and resolved. Purchased at end of 2019 season last year, November I think, used once in December and then not again until around mid-February 2020 and have only used about 5 times total and problem started right away only charging past 70% to 100% one time. All other charges below 70% and usually at 55% to 60%.Maybe Ryobi will offer some suggestions or fixes. I do, however, really like this electric ZT mower; but not sure would buy again. Thank You.

The blades are easy to install because the mower deck can be removed very quickly by removing three pins and unscrewing the two motor cables. Also the deck is very light and easy to flip over for blade installation. I’d guess one minute is all you need to remove and flip the deck over. The bagger, bagger chute, and bagging blades are surprisingly good at moving the grass through the chute and into the bagger, (considering there isn’t any “extra blower” helping to move the clippings.) My other riding mower occasionally clogs up clippings in the chute and is more difficult to remove the chute to clear out clippings! Also, the other mower’s bagging system cost four times more than the ZT480e’s bagging system! Only regret is not being able to see when the bags are close to being full. The little yellow wheel (located on the upper section of the chute) starts to spin when the bags are close to filling and then stops spinning when full but I find myself guessing when to unload the bags because sometimes the bags aren’t full while other times I’m pulling clippings out of the chute all the way down to the deck. The best indication of overfilling is noticing clippings coming out from under the deck. I’d like to see a clear upper chute ( or at least a clear acrylic window in the upper chute so you can see the grass flying through the chute where the chute enters the hopper. Even so, it’s still easy to remove the upper chute and clean out.
