GREAT DRILL BITS

Handy Drill Set
This drill bit set has a selection of bits from 1/16” to 3/8”. There are duplicates for the 1/16”, 1/8” and 1/4” bits, which are probably the most used.
The set comes in a sturdy case with a flip-out holder so the case can lie flat on a table with the bits standing upright. The latch for the holder is a little tricky to unlatch, but it keeps the bits in place.
I’ve only used the 3/16” bit so far to drill drain holes in a plastic trash cart wheel. The bit stayed in place on contact and made a clean hole.
This is a good basic drill bit set.

Sharp and accurate
So glad I chose this set of Ryobi black oxide round shank drill bits. They are super sharp and bore through just about anything with ease. The sizes could not be more perfect. The sizes are just right for any job around the house. The case that they come in is sturdy and really handy for storing the bits and keeping them organized by size. The case also keeps the drill bits clean. I have used almost all of the 15 bits so far and have not had a single problem - these little babies are a game changer.

Easy Start Drills
The RYOBI black oxide round shank drill bit set of 15 bits has 2 of the most commonly used bits, two 1/16; two 1/8; two 1/4" and nine other size bits, 5/64; 3/32; 7/64; 9/64; 5/32; 3/16; 7/32; 5/16 and 3/8 inch. The bits drill on contact with the 135-degree split point tip and can be used in metal, wood and plastic. It's always good to have sharp drill bits and this set comes in a nice storage box with the drill size clearly marked. The drills also have a 3X longer life than regular drill bits. Makes a good gift, too!

Love this set
I have been looking for a nice drill bit set. This set is perfect. I have Ryobi drills and they work great with them. My other drill bits were so old that the tips broke off. I am doing several projects around the house and these are so useful. They come in a 15 piece set with ranging sizes. Comes in a nice storage case so you don't lose any and makes for easy storage.

Quality Drill Bits at a Very Resonable Price
Retired here and like to stay busy with DIY projects around my house and for friends. I got tired of having to grab my big old drill index metal box and haul it with me to a friend’s house when all I usually needed was a just small sized bit. The 15-piece RYOBI Black Oxide Round Shank Drill Bit Set in the clear case it perfect size with very common small drill bit sizes. Features that I really liked also was that the bits have a black oxide finish to offer superior durability and 3X longer life. Another great feature of these bits is the 135° split point to drill on contact and prevent your bit from walking. And last but not least the set is very reasonably price and a great value!

A good economical set, but not the highest quality bits
I already have a large set of drill bits that were my dad's, but some are worn out, and since it is a big set, it is kind of awkward to carry around. I thought this set would be much more convenient, which it is. The case will even slip into my back pocket for carrying, which is handy. I tried 2 of the smaller bits, on just a 2 by four I had out by the wood pile. The first bit broke before it could drill one hole. I thought perhaps I had the torque set too high, so put it down to 16 and the second bit drilled just fine. Not sure if it was a fluke or if the bits just aren't really that great. I use my drill a lot and seldom break a bit unless I've used it pretty hard for quite a while. For the money, I think these are fine, though.

High Speed, Black Oxide, lasts 3x longer.
The RYOBI Black Oxide Round Shank Drill Bit Set (15-Piece is my answer to using Drill bits that cost more but are basically cheap bits that end up breaking and loosing their cutting edge. These bits are stronger with the high speed steel in its production and the black Oxide finish. Each bit has a 135 point so they start cutting immediately and won't wander keeping the bit in place and the item being drilled looking good. It's 15 piece set is perfect for my uses and the most bits I usually break, 1/16, 1/8, and 1/8, come in two's which I really like. A very nice case keeps everything in order as well. They also will last 3x long-term then conventional bits, that's a value.

Strong drill bits
I especially like that Ryobi includes two 1/16”, 1/8” and 1/4” drill bits in their 15-Piece Black Oxide Round Shank Drill Bit Set. I seem to always break the smallest bit (1/16”) and those that I use the most (1/8” and 1/4").
I use the 1/8” and 1/4" bits to drill holes with my CNC router because the black oxide coating provides heat resistance and lubricity. Drilling holes with the CNC Router is tricky because the router cannot be slowed down enough for drilling, but these black oxide bits withstand the heat that builds up while drilling much better than regular drill bits.

Very nice
When it comes to certain tools, I like to be completely honest .!
It’s because when people use drillbits at least 50% of them really do not know how to use a drill bit. (Side note/tip) slow down use cutting oil or any type of lubricant , go a little slower.
when you drill too fast, you burn out at the bit .
Now onto the review when Ryobi first came out with their drill bits I’m not gonna lie they were cheap. They would break, they would burn too quick, but now that they came out with this new black oxide, I have to say that they have gotten a lot better, they last longer and the price is really good and just like I’ve said on other different ryobi products they’ve actually stepped up the quality and materials they use. They work really great. The price is also really great. They come in this really cool case that flips up so eat you can easily pull out whatever drillbit you looking for .

They also give you a nice diagram on the back, so it also recognizes the metric and standard size to the each drill bit and one of the coolest features that I personally like is that the lock on the case it automatically locks when you close it so you don’t loose any bits. Are they going to last you forever? Of course not. But if you learn how to properly use drill bits, they will last for a long time . I definitely recommend these for the do it yourself or for the home improvement enthusiasts ,
So in general Bradley mix a good product makes a lot of good products and this happens to be one of them.
