These Ryobi glue sticks worked just fine with the standard glue gun that we own. To be honest, I couldn't really tell if there was a noticeable difference between the Ryobi glue sticks and the generic brand sticks that we also have in the house. The glue melted easily and bonded well to the surface of my child's arts and crafts project. These sticks are very slim, so make sure you purchase the correct size sticks for your glue gun.

These Ryobi glue sticks work fine in my gun. Glue seems to hold really well and they were just as good as any other glue stick I’ve ever used. They dry and harden to almost a clear color but not quite. The glue sticks are 6 inches in length and quarter inch diameter so they work with the mini cool guns. I definitely buy these. You can use them on wood, plastics, ceramics, fabrics, cardboard, and fabric so they’re great for crafting.

My wife frequently purchases RYOBI full size glue sticks for her arts and craft projects. These glue sticks work with not only the RYOBI glue gun, but in the Arrow brand glue gun as well. The glue sticks can be used on numerous materials. She uses them on fabrics, wood, plastics, artificial flower arrangements, wreaths, and numerous other projects.

These work just fine in our glue gun. These are the mini size as opposed to the standard. Sticks melt nicely and cure quickly with a smooth finish. Hold is good and comparable to others we’ve used. Color is neutral. Not quite clear but close. Definitely not the “yellow” tint ones that are not so visually pleasing. Size is 1/4” diameter x6” in length

I'm not sure exactly what to say about this except that it worked really well. Pretty much the same as any other hot glue. It did have a different smell to it than my regular hot glue.. I think that's probably because it's more of a Shop type glue instead of a craft glue. It Had kind of a Is hot tar type smell. It is a smaller diameter glue stick.
I just used it in my regular small glue gun....

As it's often said, use the accessory made for the tool.
Not sure how true of glue sticks, given the wide variety. However if you want to get it right with the right tools, use the right glue sticks.
Melt with a dual temperature, or regular glue gun. Reason for different temps, so you don't end up melting what you are gluing as well.
These do real well and surpass their task of adhesive.
Not just for crafts.
Example, if you are mounting something but only have two hands. Just hot glue it in place so you can use both hands to attach it with the proper fasteners.
Let the work hold itself.
The right tools makes things a whole lot easier.

I have been using another brand glue stick that was excellent, I tried the Ryobi Glue Sticks and there are equally as strong, clear glue with great holding power. I thought they were a little smaller in diameter than what I had been using so questioned if they would feed into my Arrow glue gun. They did just great. I now have a new glue to use that is more cost effective that what I used before. my wife wanted me to build her a shelf for her new kitchen gadget. i cut the MDF board and assembled with Ryobi Hot Glue "only" worked great! Took longer to cut the wood than putting it together. I have used hot glue for years starting back when it first appeared, I assembled solid surface showers and used hot glue to assemble them. The hot glue worked GREAT and was immediate hold.

There isn't a lot to talk about when it comes to glue sticks, get the correct size for your glue gun and they just work. It would be nice if the package came with the ability to reseal like a ziploc bag but otherwise these are fair price for a fair amount of glue sticks. They work well in my Ryobi 18v hot glue gun, are nice and clear, and a 24 pack lasts quite awhile unless you're doing a lot of gluing.

That’s glue sticks arrived in perfect condition and the quality is really nice. I was a little surprised at the diameter of these sticks. I’ve submitted photos of the diameter of the stick, hopefully to give a visual that will help to determine if it will fit the glue gun of choice.
This is a generous bag of glue sticks. There shouldn’t be a need for replacements in the near future!

I use these for adding wood appliqué to picture frames. It heats evenly, bonds well, and works well for lightweight uses. I like that it comes in a good size pack. It’s a great and will last you for a while unless you’re just cranking out crafts. These work perfectly in my Ryobi glue and they fit perfectly. One stick is plenty for a single project.
