Awesome Stack, Cheap Plastic
Was so excited to get this item. Right out of the box a pin was missing in one of the handles. The main handle broke on day two and I barely had any real heavy gear/weight in the unit! While pulling the unit up a short flight of steps to go into a client’s house, the handle SNAPPED and all of my gear went tumbling down the steps. HOW EMBARRASSING! Another Ryobi product I have to take back after only two days! 😡

Link box alignment issues
I tried calling RYOBI a few times, and finally when someone answered, after waiting more than 45 minutes, they placed me on a longer hold. At the end I had to hang up. Conclusion: no support. My link box does close properly. The lid doesn’t align well with the box. And l don’t feel comfortable taking it to a job site in case it opens up. I hope Ryobi could fix this issue.

Handle broke with minimal usage
One of the handles on the rolling base broke off lifting it into my truck. I had 58 pounds in it. That's 142 pounds less than it's rated for. I really liked it up to this point but they are obviously using cheap plastic. The small box also doesn't latch on sometimes even though it looks fully seated and clicks. It's made of >pp< Poly Propylene which is a very cheap plastic. A glass fiber reinforced nylon would be a much better choice for the whole thing but it would cost more to make.

game changer!
Used to carry everything in bags to work everyday. My Fiance got me this set for my birthday. These are without a doubt a game changer for what I do. They lock together better than most boxes i have seen. I picked the full set with the crate because its the perfect height for the miter saw to sit on top at work level. Now I can roll the whole thing from room to room to cut trim and other bits. No more walking all over the house and back. I now have so many 18v +one tools I need more storage.

I was a bit disappointed by how the components don't stay locked together especially well. The interior storage trays have limited functionality, and could be improved. The bit holder is pretty lame, and by including it Ryobi limited the storage capacity (it makes the lid thicker at that point, which can hinder closing).
