ONE+ 18V 12 in. Cordless 3-in-1 Trim Mower with 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger

I must say, this little 3 -in -1 lawnmower with attached trimmer, AND edger, was and is a delight to use.  First off, I noticed that my arms didn't get as tired using it as a mower, as compared to using m y other Ryobi trimmers, and/or even the one included in the set.  The wheel base adjustments are perfect, and can be easily set at 1½, 2½ and 3½.  I tried all 3 adjustments and one was exactly right for the height of my lawn.  This trimmer has an auto-feed for the string, so please don't try bumping the spool head.  Sometimes that will void the warranty. There is also a safety feature in the handle to prevent accidental starting.  This is backed by a 3-year warranty. Another great feature is that I already had surplus line string in both   .080 and .065. Never thought I'd enjoy doing the lawn, but this made it very easy, less stressful, and very enjoyable. Delighted to recommend it to all interested Home Depot shoppers, and I've already recommended it to my Daughter & her husband.

I got this for the small areas that my riding lawnmower can’t access and it works pretty well for that. The String trimmer/ edger works flawlessly as a stand alone and effortlessly snaps into the mower base and also releases easily. If you’re looking to use this as a mower for a larger area though I would say go with something else. As a mower it is under powered and you have to use it kind of like a vacuum cleaner. I wish the mower attachment was interchangeable with the 40v trimmer. The battery has a power gage which is nice. The string that came with it kept binding up so I ditched that and wound my favorite string. That was an easy task. For my application this setup is perfect and awful handy and helps with the vibration you get from string trimmers when it is in mower mode.

I thought it would do a better job, it only has one #.080 string instead of two. We have a riding mower to do the big stuff but using a string trimmer to do the weeds in the areas that are to small is hard on the old back. This product seemed to be the hot ticket! It did a decent job but seemed to be underpowered with just one string had to move slower than using our other battery powered trimmer. The unit is well built and light weight, is easy to clean, just blast the undercarriage with water and a high pressure nozzle. It features a one touch adjustable cutting height, it is a well thought out piece of equipment. Could only give it 3 stars!

RYOBI 3-IN-1 Mower/Trimmer Kit This kit comes with the Ryobi P20033 18v String Timmer/Edger. This Trimmer edger allows you to clean up around those areas a mower just cannot get to. The fences, birdbaths, poles and walkways. The string Trimmer itself is top of Ryobi's line and get the job done without needing constant ground bumps to advance the line. Just simply let up of the trigger and the line advances and trims the line automatically. Now for the rest of those detached areas to care for, this kit includes a 12-inch mower attachment. That's right your P20033 18v Trimmer/Edger locks into position on the attachment and locks in place with the touch of the locking pedal. You set the mower deck height with one simple lever at the rear of the attachment. After attaching the trimmer, you simply depress the trigger as normal and walk the area you need to cover and you have the finished look you wanted. A simple and easy attachment doubles the work to get a professional touch.

I love this trimmer/mower! Its perfect for small patches of grass or, in my case, small patches of weeds where grass also grows. The mower deck is narrow and it uses a self feeding trimmer string to cut down the weeds and grass. The battery makes this really easy and convenient. All i have to do is remember to charge the battery, and i am good to mow! Oh, and the trimmer detaches and the reattaches really easily so trimming was a breeze too!

This combo trimmer and lawn mower/edger is handy for those small projects around your home. The edger/mower setup is somewhat lacking in that as an edger goes, it does not get that close to perhaps your fence line or pavers to get a nice close shave of grass or weeds. So you would probably take off the mower/edger attachment to get close to the fences or what not. The trimmer works good but it is a simple manual reload or you must buy spools to replace the string as it gets shorter. But all in all, this would be good for someone who has a small lawn or garden area to keep looking good and does not want to invest in a larger mowing system.

RYOBI ONE+ 18V 12 in. Cordless Battery 3-in-1 Mower, String Trimmer, and Edger with 4.0 Ah Battery and Charger My backyard has a hill that is dangerous to mow in a few small areas on my riding mower. I thought with the mowing deck included, this would be a perfect tool to store in my shed to use on the hill. Then I could also use the string trimmer by itself to do some light trimming around the shed. The unit is lightweight and the cutting head articulates for both horizontal trimming and vertical edging. The telescoping handle is adjustable for length and quickly detaches in and out of the included mowing deck, with no need to even bend over. While using as a trimmer it’s not as efficient on dense weeds as my bigger trimmer, but my wife loves using it because it’s a lot smaller. This Ryobi only has a single cutting line, compared to the double cutting lines on every trimmer I’ve ever owned. I think it hurts the trimmer’s ability to cut in thick weeds and grass, but should be fine for average yard trimming jobs. I really like how lightweight it is and my wife does too. The mower attachment only takes a second to click it on or remove it. You only need one hand to operate this while using the mowing function. When I tried the mowing attachment I quickly learned to use it as I use the upright vacuum cleaner in the house. It worked best with kind of a short back and forth motion, rather than continuously walking a straight path as you do with a real lawnmower. I do wish it cut better and cleaner. I think having two string lines would really improve things. I took photos, but it’s hard to see where I cut and I had to go over most areas with several passes to cut all the grass blades. I think it’s great for light cleanup in small areas, and I think it will work fine for what I wanted it to do, but I can’t imagine using this to really cut grass, even in a very small yard.

Ryobi did it again for me. This is a great unit for me as I have many narrow areas and fence posts to do around my yard. You can use it as a 12" mower, weed Wacker or as an edger. It has a toe piece on back of mower housing to easily remove the weed whacker. I have many embankments to do and stockade fence, post and rail fence. My yard gets well taken care of by Ryobi. I.m an all battery household now

The Ryobi 12”, 18V Cordless Mower Trimmer sold by The Home Depot is a nice product. The kit comes complete with the battery and battery charger. I really like you are able to tell how much battery life is left before you have to recharge. The unit itself is light weight and can easily convert from a normal trimmer to a trimmer with four wheels. I think it’s great for edging, getting into tight areas and cutting my Valley with ease. This is a perfect unit for someone with a smaller size yard.
