A: Hi, Gil. Thank you for your interest in the RYOBI ONE+ 18V 2.0 Ah Compact Lithium-Ion Battery. The 6 amp hour battery can provide around 15-40 minutes. A: Hi, Arnold. Thank you for your interest in the RYOBI ONE+ 18V 2.0 Ah Compact Lithium-Ion Battery. This would depend on the tool you are using. I would need the model number of the tool to determine if the P190 is compatible with it. 2 pack because they die quick
Good for small, craft like projects but not a good battery if you’re looking for something that lasts. Started blinking “defective” after only a few simple cuts on 3/4” plywood and 1x6s.

Dead in just 1 year.
Ryobi's customer service department and their current policies nearly RUIN the entire experience for what is otherwise an excellent product line.
I own (56) different Ryobi One+ tools and batteries, and the vast majority of them have been worthy of 4 and 5 star reviews. With so many tools, I've probably experienced 4 or 5 issues where I required service over the past 15 years. It used to be a simple and quick matter handled in your local Home Depot.
Now you must call Ryobi directly, which has become a TERRIBLE and very time consuming experience. Yesterday I waited for over 20 minutes on hold for my call to be answered before I gave up. Today as I write this, I have been on the phone speaking with folks for 59 minutes! It has taken this long to get approval for replacement of a failed 1 year old battery that came with a 3 year warranty, despite having the receipt and other documentation, and the product being registered. And now I'm late for work. Would have cost me less to go BUY another battery!
Ryobi's call center procedures seem to be designed to infuriate customers from the outset, creating a bad vibe that has clearly settled into the attitudes of the poor folks that must answer the phone. The next thing you'll be hit with is a statement of Ryobi's RIDICULOUS policy that you must have the EXACT (by serial number) tool, battery and charger that came together in a kit (if the battery in question was part of a kit) IN YOUR HANDS before they will transfer you to a warranty specialist. The concept of interchangeability amongst One+ components is completely thrown out the window here. I seriously thought the person that told me this just made it up to be difficult, but when she put me on hold I heard it over and over again in a recorded message. Wow.
Ryobi listen up - here's how to do warranty service...
- Customer: My battery won't power the tool and isn't charging up all the way.
- Ryobi: Here's an RMA to send it in. We'll confirm the failure and send you a new one.
Better yet, let HD handle it at the counter like in the past...
- Customer: This battery seems to be dead.
- HD: Yep, sure does, and I see your purchase in the computer. Grab a new one off the shelf.
I did finally get through to a wonderful person in the battery warranty department who worked hard to help me, even though their email system was down and replacement batteries were back-ordered for months.
Home Depot, please take notice of this situation with your vendor and get it fixed before it comes back to haunt you.

Great purchase! I already owned the ONE+ 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Electric Cordless String Trimmer 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger Included. Since the original batter only has a 30 minute lifespan, I decided that a few extra batteries would come in handy while the first one is being recharged, The price for a two-pack was better than individual prices. So that means that I now have 3 of these 18-Volt Ryobi batteries, so at the same time, I ordered a Ryobi hand held vacuum so that the two tools could share batteries. Very pleased with all of my Ryobi products, and happy to recommend them to future Home Depot buyers.

This battery pack is a necessity for owners of the battery operated weed eaters and other yard tools. I am a 56 yr old woman and live on just under an acre. I can get thru the entire place using two batteries. They hold their charge well and recharge quickly. Overall, great value and performance as expected from Ryobi.
