For a projector
To give an idea of utility for a remote projector: I use this to power a cheap 720p projector, 40W draw and Roku. The 4 Ah lithium battery will run both for a little over an hour, maybe an hour and a half

    Super for light duty
I am a 67-year-old woman who pruned my big Palo Verde tree with the Ryobi pole saw. That worked great but wanted to cut up the bigger branches for firewood. I went to Home Depot and bought this 18 V chainsaw and used the same battery from my pole saw. It worked just fine and was easy for me to use. I used gentle pressure and it cut through the wood quite easily. I am taking it Camping because I have solar panels that are charging the battery right now. The only thing I wish it had was automatic chain oil like the pole saw had but it is not difficult to do anyway. You just push a button on top every few minutes to keep it lubricated.

Strap broke after 30 minutes of cutting
I really love this tool and I’m a huge Ryobi fan but I’m sincerely disappointed by the strap mechanism breaking within (literally) thirty minutes of use. I hope this isn’t indicative of the quality of the entire tool.

BUY THIS! I absolutely love it. I use it to re-charge my drone when I'm out on longer trips. I have 4ah, 6ah, and 9ah batteries I use with this and it is really handy. Since it's 1.25amp, it's not the fastest charger, but I can re-charge all 3 of my drone batteries so it works for my needs. I have a USB-A to USB-C cable also, I can use this to recharge my phone. I wish it would have a USB-C port on it, maybe the next version will. The LED on it is very very bright, great to use camping.

          Thumbs up
It did a good job cutting up a tree that fell. Unbelievable power. I like the ryobi line up. One battery fits my nail gun. Router. Jig saw. Sander. Chain saw. The only negative thing i can say about the saw is. It will leak all the bar oil out within two days. I learned to not fill it up if im not going to use it a lot. All n all its a good little saw.

Bent the chain bar after a few hours of light use
The "bar" the chain goes around is possibly bent after a few hours of light-moderate use. The factory chain tension appeared appropriate, I did not change chain tension. I did not drop the tool nor apply much force to it. The motor is quite strong this could have occurred when a twig became lodged in the chain where it entered the housing. Twigs getting stuck in the chain occurred occasionally. Prior to the part failure I had no other complaints about the tool I thought it was awesome worked great, easy to use. Strong motor.

This Ryobi product is unbelievable the best for a secure backup to an electrical outage in your home. Only need it for my electronics and a portable fan. It's very reliable and has proven worthy of it's expectations! Just a footnote use the Ryobi battery 4ah to make sure you maximize the power source and function effectively. Great investment and easy to travel with anywhere! Jessica

Make sure you keep your receipt. This is considered an accessory not a tool!
I had this less than a year and it no longer works. It overheats and drains the One + battery without charging or providing power to whatever is connected to it. I contacted Ryobi because of the three year warranty you see everywhere on this page and on the packaging, but they will not honor the warranty without the receipt. This product has only been on the market for about a year and a half, so it cannot be older than that. Frustrated with Ryobi not honoring their warranty. Hopefully Home Depot can find and print my receipt, but what a hassle.
