A:  I wasn't aware of an underpower issue. I've had my mini compressor about a year and haven't had any issues with it. I use it to inflate the air bags on my truck when hauling heavy loads. I just recently used it to attach some gutter gaurds using a staple gun. It does run a lot but that should be expected since its only a 1gal capicity. I only use a 6 amphour battery in it so that may be why I haven't had issues. A 4ah should work also, but if using the 2ah I can see where it would run down quickly. I have never used anything but a battery to power it so can't answer your question on plugging it in to 110. If you're wanting this to use all day with nail guns, I don't think it's going to work even is plugged in. I suspect it would overheat since the storage capicity is so small. We've also used it to air up our off road vehicle tires at property. I like it because it fits in my Rambox on my Ram truck and is there if needed. Hope this helps.

A:  The Ryobi ONE+ 18V batteries work in all of the 18V tools which’s why I love them. You may want to consider a 6A battery for the compressor in order to get better run time between battery recharges.

A:  You can use the same charger.  A big reason I use ryobi tools is the fact their batteries will always work with their tools and chargers.
