RYOBI introduces the 18V ONE+ Cordless 3-Speed 1/2 in. Impact Wrench (Tool-Only). The 3-Speed 1/2 in. Impact Wrench is more compact and more powerful than the ever before. With this new design, it produces 300 ft./lbs. of torque and up to 3,200 impacts per minute (IPM) allowing you to use this tool for a variety of heavy duty applications. This tool features a 3-speed selector switch and tri-beam LED lights. The RYOBI 18V ONE+ 3-Speed 1/2 in. Impact Wrench works with any 18V ONE+ battery (sold separately). Powerful impact wrench on a budget
I purchased this a month ago for work related on my car. It has a brushed motor, it will make sparks so watch out for that.
It seems to be well built, the kit I got came with a 4AH battery, at a very good price!
I expected it to be cheap quality but it is surprisingly well built, sturdy, and it is powerful, so wheel lugnuts will be no problem whatsoever!
Happy with this purchase!

Needs more torque

Good impact with one really annoying flaw
I bought this impact a little over three months ago on sale for around $99 with battery which is was a great deal. Got it to use at home for taking wheels off mostly. It had plenty of power and I was quite impressed with it for the price. The one flaw it has is its detent avail though. When I bought this I didn't do any know any difference so it wasn't even a factor. The detent that holds the sockets on is so still I couldn't get sockets off by pulling, or even sticking a small screwdriver in to release them. One day my bother used it and pulled a socket off and the detent flew off as well. Now it doesn't hold sockets which is super annoying. I would take it back if it was within the time limit buts its over 90 days so ill just keep it for the battery as I have too many other ryobi products already. I ordered the brushless ryobi impact with the friction ring and it should be much better. Guess its what I get for not doing research.

Bang For Buck

Handy Impact Tool
Very Handy Impact tool. Made the installation of 1/2" Lag Bolts very easy for my deck construction. I also added a 3/8" adapter screw drivers so that I can use it as a screw gun. The speed selector using the slowest speed makes starting a screw or lag bolt more manageable and switching speed higher makes short work of finishing the job once the screw or lag bolt is started.

1/2 impact wrench
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a awesome impact wrench, had a flat 2 different times on my GMC Acadia and this impact worked great. The lug nut socket not only fit lug nut but also my scissor jack nut and nut to lower tire from under rear end of SUV. Made changing tire like NASCAR pit crew, fast time I ever changed a tire. From there on I keep one in every car to take hassle out of changing tires.

Great Quality, Great Value
As title implies, this tool is great to add to your collection. Great for any DIY projects; enough power/ torque to yank off severely rusted lug nuts. That was as good a test as any, I'm sure it'll be useful for many more projects to come.
