Q:I have friends who have moved to MX and his battery died. He says this battery is not available in MX and he was hoping I could bring one with me in my carry-on when I visit them in July, but I don?t this battery meets the TSA guidelines. Suggestions?

Perfect little portable fan
This little fan is perfect for my workbench. It has two speeds and puts out good air flow for as little as it is. It’s well made, has a strong clamp even with a battery attached. This can be taken anywhere and I sure my spouse will use it as well. Overall I am happy with this purchase and the price doesn’t break the bank.

The reason for the below average rating is because of the one I bought before this, same battery, I used it 5 times in a year and now it wouldn’t charge anymore, I’m upset, I would never buy another but I have no choice, I have the Ryobi charger and finish nail gun. And of course their was nothing anybody could do, at the store or customer support, so sad

Bought one to beat the summer heat!!
I work in my van all day. This is going to get the air moving in the back while I'm looking through stock! Very powerful - It says it lasts a long time. Can't wait for tomorrow so I can put it to use!

Great for the golf cart
I bought two these to attach to the golf cart while golfing during the Houston summers. This fan works great and attached firmly and securely. The fan ran on high for ~5 hours and never died on a 1.5 mAh battery. There were no issues and they kept us much cooler. Highly recommend!

Ryobi fan
I absolutely love this fan I got one and I used it for about 5 hours on a 4 amp hour battery and still had 3 bars left I was putting screen on my porch had it on the ladder blowing right on me next day went back and got another one for my wife we used them at the air show. at pad airport hear in Atlanta highly recommended
