Haven’t used my new tools yet but they look good.

I came across this set about a month ago and thought it looked like a good deal. I have a friend in the home reno business who introduced me to Ryobi tools some year ago and he raved about them. I got my first drill and battery and charger about six years ago and use it weekly if not daily. It works today like it did on day one so I expect this set to be just as good. I love the fact that I can replace a number of my corded tools with battery powered tools and "cut the cord".

For those interested in country of origin, this product was made in VIETNAM. Have been a fan of Ryobi products for years as they work very well and last a long time with minimal maintenance. Obtained this Combo as a gift to a new home owner, as it covers all the essentials needed to get started in home DIY. Circular saw is very powerful and easy to handle. The combination of drill and impact driver allows for easy repairs where wood holes need to be drilled before screw driven in by impact driver. Have not used the light of Recip saw but there should be no issue there.

RYOBI ONE+ 18V Cordless 6-Tool Combo Kit contains a great selection of 18V battery-powered tools. I was really drawn to this set because of the reciprocating saw. It is small and just perfect for a townhome dweller. The circular saw is also smaller than normal at 5 1/2" blade and again a great size for my needs. Having a Drill/Driver and Impact Driver comes in handy when one wants to pre-drill and screw and not have to exchange bits or drivers. There is a Multi-Tool and Work Light. In addition, are blades, and drill bits for use with the 6 tools. There are two Ryobi One batteries. I had to do a little research online to find out the difference between the two batteries. The batteries only differ in the length of working time. The battery charger quickly recharges your battery perhaps during your lunch break. I found the bag rather heavy with all the tools and supplies in it at the same time. The tools came well packed to prevent damage in transit however provided a significant amount of cardboard for my recycle bin.

Great selection of the most needed tools for the DYIer. This is not a heavy duty product, and that's OK for most of us. In the case of a heavy duty product, it isn't unusual to pay a similar price for just one of the tools. So this is just a fantastic value, getting you a variety of tools for a good price. Don't let that concern you if you are a DYIer. You are not using these tools every day. They still are pretty durable. I am very familiar with this RYOBI ONE+ set because I've been using the same set with a volunteer work team. I liked it so much, I'm getting one for myself. Our team goes out to help on various projects about once every 2 months, and have been doing so for the last few years. This tool set has been absolutely perfect for us and has lasted flawlessly during that time. We mostly do flooring work, such as repairing subfloor and putting down laminate flooring. This tool selection is perfect for such a task. The multi-tool is especially helpful when under-cutting door frames. A few other comments on the tools: - You may think both a drill and impact driver are redundant or too much. Nope. Once you use an impact driver, you will know how useful it is. Additionally, it is nice to have the drill with a drill bit, and the driver with your fastener bit (and no need to switch). - For this kit, no drills or bits are provided. However, the reciprocating saw, multi-tool and circular saw have basic blades provided. - The circular saw is small and useful for trim or quick fixes. Don't expect to use it as your go-to wood cutting saw. It is best for trim or tight areas where portability is needed. - The reciprocating saw works fine but is light duty. Don't expect to be cutting steel I-beams. The batteries provided are mid-upper level batteries in Ryobi's line (PBP002 and PBP005). Ryobi has a lot of different kinds and capacities of batteries that fit the 18V ONE+ system. These are not the top level versions of batteries in the line, but they are still very good. And one nice thing about the batteries is you'll find a lot of people use these Ryobi sets, so if you are with a work group, there's a good chance you can share capacity. Just put your name on your battery. We do this all the time. More good news is once you get this set, you can potentially add to it (I'll be getting a brad nailer) since you already have the batteries. Finally, since it is so lightweight, it fits into this beautiful small bag that you can easily tote around. The full bag measures about 14"x17"x8". Perfect. Ryobi One 18volt combo 6 Tool Kit Is just what I needed for most of my projects. Included is a reciprocating saw, 5 ½’’ circular saw,1/2’’ Drill driver,1/4’’ impact tool, Led light, multipurpose tool, battery charger,4.0 amp hour,1.5 amp hour battery both batteries have a charge indictor so you know what the charge is , Plus a tool bag. Oscillating multipurpose tool has so many applications its hard to single any one out it has a hex wrench to change the blade etc and a sanding pad plus two different blades, Reciprocating saw is able to use just about any blade you need for any work plus you can change the blades without a tool just raise the release lever, ½’’ drill driver is great for my hard deck jobs to masonry work. easy to change the torque settings and you can see the settings clearly this has a lot of torque so you must be aware of what you are doing,¼’’ impact driver works great for the hex tool bits you can install or remove them very easy with the quick release collet make sure to use impact rated bits. Control is easy with the variable speed trigger control and a electric brake when you release the trigger belt clip available. This is a good introductory cordless combo kit. It comes with a lightweight nylon tool carrying bag for the 4 tools battery and charger as well as any accessories. The kit includes a one bulb led flashlight/work light, 5 1/2" circular saw with 18 teeth blade and installation wrench, 1/2 drill driver and a impact driver. Easy to carry and store and I will using to make some repairs to my cedar deck.

This comes with a 1/2" drill/driver, a 1/4" impact driver, a 5-1/2" circular saw and an LED light that are all powered by the lithium-ion batteries and a 1.5Ah and a 4Ah battery are included in this kit along with the 18V charger to keep your tools powered.
