RYOBI introduces the 18V ONE+ Cordless 5-1/2 in. Circular Saw with (1) 4.0 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery and 18V Charger. This saw is equipped with GRIPZONE overmold for optimum grip and comfort and has a 50° bevel cut capacity. The 5-1/2 in. blade provides a 1-9/16 in. depth of cut. Best of all, it is part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 225 cordless tools that all work on the same battery platform. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer's Warranty, the 18V ONE+ 5-1/2 in. Circular Saw includes a 4.0 Ah Battery, an 18V Charger, a 5-1/2 in. blade, blade wrench and operator's manuals.

Good circular saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Ryobi circular saw and replaces one that was stolen. The saw is better than the older version but did not come with an edge guide like the previous one. The small blade is limiting but the 7 inch brushless version is much more expensive and this one handles a lot.

Nice Handy Tool
The only problem with this sucker is finding sawblades! It's hard to find anything but the exact type it comes wth. So far, I've only found the Avanti. If you want to cut things other than wood, or would prefer more teeth for a finer cut --- good luck.

HD shipping Sucks
The shipping was delayed for 1 and half months. Every time I called the support they know nothing of the status of mu purchase. Can't even offer me a compensation for my frustration. But the product is okay..

Arrived in cardboard shipping box only. No packaging. Appears new. All expected parts were in box. Excellent price for this saw with a 4.0 amp battery. Ryobi no longer shows 5.5 inch cordless as a product on Ryobi website, so this is likely a closeout. Includes a laser guide. Will fill my needs for this size saw.
