    Like a charm
Got it to work very easily out of the box and started installing some quarter round baseboards. You cant beat the convenience of not needing a compressor and having the hose chasing you around everywhere. My only hope is for it to last long as it is a lot of plastic.

I am in love with this tool! best tool purchase I have made in a while! super easy to understand instructions for the settings, came set up for 1 1/4 brad nails and works perfectly, like the LED work light as well. Its like loading a staple gun super easy and works like a champ, I have had no jams or misfires just perfect strikes every time, also doesn't leave any marks on my project surfaces, and I use a lot of pine which of course is a soft wood. For the price point and for what this tool is intended purpose of trim work and lighter duty applications its great. I am building some floating shelves and it is a must have. Plenty of power, I have fired this through Mdf, Oak, and Pine and zero issues. Battery stays charged a really long time. Very well made durable tool. Wonder if the Yellow guys are going to get in on the fun, their stuff is WAY over priced, They don't seem to have any real competition at the moment, everyone else's stuff costs 3 times what this does. Ryobi has a real winner here. Seriously one of my favorite tools.

Product met my expectations, didn't exceed them. Purchased to remedy squeaky floorboards and build some crude cabinet shelving. The nailer jams occasionally when using 2in brads in hardwood or doesn't drive it all the way into material even after adjustment (see image). Have a hammer and punch on hand if your pushing this tool to its limit. Would be nice if nailer were lighter and as quiet as a pneumatic one. I felt the price was reasonable. Side note: The packaging was really beat up in shipping, thin box was crushed and scratched with packaging tape holding it back together. I'm concerned about my battery being damaged from the warning stickers on the side of the box.

I've used Ryobi ONE+ tools for a while now and found them to be reliable and easy to use. The brad nailer was a recent addition to the collection, and it works very well. No more dragging an air compressor around! Some notable features: Built in LED's light up the work area A dial on top adjusts the force (comparable to changing a compressor's pressure setting) A depth of drive adjustment can further refine how deep the brad is driven. There is a contact actuation mode that allows more rapid nailing, just slide the selector over, hold the trigger, and a brad will fire each time the tool is pressed against the work surface. The nailer will not dry fire - it stops when it gets down to the last few brads. The Ryobi is a little heavier than my old air nailer, so I use the 1.4 amp hour (smaller) batteries instead of the larger 4 amp batteries to reduce the weight a bit. For me that extra weight is more than offset by not having an air hose constantly in the way or having to stop and drag a compressor around. The complete manual can be downloaded from the Home Depot website so you can check out all the features prior to buying.

This thing is great! I was able to do all my baseboards with it. Easy-peasy! The pressure settings and depth settings were perfect right out of the box. You just have to remember to put a little I'm even going to use it to build a small fence.

This is perfect although a little heavier than what I'm used to but it is a way to build more muscle!!! I am a "senior" person and woodworking is a hobby. I like the idea of the battery being very easy to remove and the same with the section to remove/add the nails....and it is partly an air gun without the hose etc. Cordless...how sweet is that? It takes a variety of nail sizes from 5/8" up to 2". All the other corded or cordless nail guns went to 5/8 inch. Can't nail down much with that now can you? A great addition to my shop tools.

        Awesome bit of fun
I got the battery / nailer combo, at $199. Just before the price jump. I use the thing, just about every day, and it's never let me down.. Of the thousands of nails, I've only had one jam.. Nothing really bad to say about it.. I love it.

Works pretty good so far. I like how it doesn’t shoot out a bunch of air like typically found on a pneumatic type of nailer. You have less dust/debris flying everywhere. Being a battery operated, you can pretty much bring it anywhere without worrying about air hose or the compressor. It’s cheaper than other well known brands, but for an everyday DIYer this is more than sufficient. I think the only downside that I noticed is that it is front heavy and so when you stand it up on the floor (bottom of battery facing down) it can easily tip with little force and fall so I lay it on its side just to be safe. But other than that I’m happy with it.

Ordered this on a Sunday and it was here the next day. Used it on a job site and it worked very well using 1-1/2" brads. Did not even have to do a set up. The stock settings were perfect. I had a pneumatic one but this one is much more convenient to use. No hoses or noisy compressor.

Never got the brad samples. Called and talked to a person who said she would call me back in 5 minutes and I never heard from her again. Will call again tomorrow and if I don't have any luck I will return the nailer and charger. Also couldn't find any brads online that said they would work in this tool. Very disappointed!
