A:  I honestly can't say, have you reached out to Ryobi customer service? I've had mine a few years now and wouldn't go back to pumping...Ever! I do clean it out after each use, put water in tank and spray until it comes clean and I clean the tip each time at the end. I've found all sprayers deteriorate quickly if they aren't cleaned and the rubber and materials don't hold up to chemicals.

A:  It will not spray if clogged. first move the spray tip and use a thin wire to check for blockage. The second option is the strainer in the container. Take it out and clean it.

A:  I use it to spray ground clear. If you don’t wash out the sprayer after each use, the residual ground clear turns to a solid. After each use, I fill the tank with a small amount of water and spray it out. I unscrew the tip and the regulator tip and put them in water. After the water runs out, I put it back together.  This has worked for me.

A:  I own three of these sprayers. Each is slightly different when it comes to the suction tube. One tube had a fine screen at it's bottom and is easy to clean. If you can remove the tube you can back flush the suction tube. Keep your tank clean of slime and debris. Another sprayer's suction tube was a tad too long and actually touched the bottom of the tank and couldn't pick up liquid. I cut 1/8" off it's length. It had no screen on it. The third unit's tube was heat shrunk on the head, no screen and not removable without heating or cutting it off. I have replaced the actual pump inside the head because it simply wouldn't suck up any liquid. The pump is small and cheap, easy to acquire and change...Search online for "Homelite Pump Diaphragm #HM-307942003". It is around $30 online. You can also try using a bicycle air pump and try to blow some air in backwards through the wand end by removing the wand forward of the handle, press the trigger and blow in some air. Do this with an extra pair of hands and be sure the sprayer is turned of. Do NOT use high pressure air as it will likely damage the soft, flexible tubing inside the internal pump. Good Luck.
