What a great tool..
After reading all the reviews and comparing to the 2 other Ryobi offerings I decided on the small one.. I was a little concerned about people’s responses with the unit not keeping up with demand since it uses a heat sink.. This little tool is an absolute dream.. worked well beyond my expectations..you can get into tight places with it.. no battery weight.. what a GEM….

Works well and best of all its very portable since its cordless and light because the battery pack is left in the base. But i wonder how it holds the charge. There must be a capacitor on the gun. It holds the charge well.

Good little unit
I’m a contractor and in professional circles ryobi tools are laughed off the job sight before they even have the chance to find their way on to it but whenever a homeowner asks me what kind of tools they should buy for around the house I always ryobi as there is no need for Milwaukee or dewalt or anything like that just for a homeowner amd ryobi is a solid line of tools. But I bought this because gluing delicate miter joints has always been an issue and the big version just put out too much glue so when I saw this I decided to give it a try. Now I never write reviews as I’m not some retiree or stay at home mom with nothing better to do but this worked just as well if not better than I expected. Wish the trigger was either a bit smaller or bigger but mostly a great product and for the price like why the heck wouldn’t you try it?

Great item.
Just got it and works great. Only thing was a holder for the glue sticks. The bottle was just a proof of concept. Very convenient having the sticks with the base.

It is the holiday season. Presents are being bought, wrapped and set under the tree. You are not sure what to get your sisters BF. You decide on a six-pack of his favorite "soda" in bottles of course. That six pack sitting under the tree looks thoughtless though. It is missing something. You pull out your Ryobi One+ 18V Cordless Compact Glue Gun and get it work. You glue eyes and a red nose and all the sudden it screams HAPPY HOLIDAYS! At the same type the gingerbread house your making is damaged out of the box. you walk away from your completed craft sitting under the tree to fix your house. It was easy moving from room to room with no cords. The gun still was hot and the glue came out easy. Now you have a completed gingerbread house and Reinbeer! Perfect for the elf in your life!

I got this glue gun to temporarily hold some wood projects. My wife used it to glue some Christmas decorations together and said it was easier than her old glue guns that used. The glue sticks are long but you don’t have to add a stick every few minutes when your using it. The gun is light weight and is very easy to use . It heats up quickly and stays hot.

I have the other larger Ryobi glue gun, and it’s been one of my favorite ONE+ tools. I used it a lot more than I thought I would, and I’ve been very happy with it. I did have a few projects where I had a bit of a time getting into some spots, so I was excited to see a smaller version coming out. This is actually a great design where the battery remains in the base and the glue gun itself detaches. The glue gun itself is quite compact but still a great size that is easy and comfortable to work with. I used it first on a holiday project and it was fantastic to have a lighter version that I could use! Just remember this one uses the mini glue sticks. It comes with a few to start with but be sure to pick some more up.

Best glue gun by far!!!
This glue gun is compact and very light! Easy to use for large projects without a cord being in the way or limiting movement. I have found little things to repair during this holiday season just to be able to use it, I can’t get enough of it. It heats in seconds and the battery life is incredible! Very happy with this product! Highly recommend, especially for DIYers like myself!
