Surprisingly Capable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first project with this router was engraving letters in a treated board. Even though I was using an inexpensive router bit, the router was easy to move and control. I was very pleased with the results. I look forward to using this router for other projects that I have planned.

A Solid Powerful Work Horse Router
I bought this tool because H.D promotional sales with free battery. Other than original router base. I made my own extended router base with two handle for wider routing work. For adjustment the routing height there you can release the clip for fast adjustment or fine adjustment by the knob. which is real practical idea. With 3 AMP battery which is good enough for you handle most routing work. For the price and quality this tool is worth each dollar spend on it.

Works great on filon/fiberglass plastic sheet
I bought this to trim the excess filon off a wall for a camper rebuild and it was a great investment. The weight of the router isn't too much to make the job more strenuous than it is already and it also isn't too light that it wobbles constantly. The LED light is a fantastic accessory. The only thing I would suggest, and this may be unnecessary for some, would be a level bubble to make sure you're running at a true 90° when working on half coverage pieces. Used with bosch fluted laminate bit.
